While playing the Game Room for the 360, I couldn't help but think about the game show from the 80's, anyone remember it? Here is a link to the show's website that I believe the original producers have set up with old episodes.

I can remember watching the show on TBS, with Geoff Edwards as the host, and I guess even Alex Trebek was hosting the show for a few episodes too. I always found it funny when they either had some terrible players going against each other or some older player going against a kid.

Got an Atari 2600(wood paneling with 6 switches on the front)for Christmas when I was 6-7 years old, and it came with Combat. Played some arcade games like Space Invaders, Boot Hill, and Asteroids when I was around that age too. Had a friend that had the Pong system, it was black/silver and had these two big turn knobs on the right and left of the console.

WoW is the MMO I played the longest at 5+ years ever since the launch, before that was Asheron's Call at about 3+ years(my first MMO). The big reason these MMO's are fun is if you have a group of friends along for the ride, otherwise I can see why people get bored with them so fast, especially if they solo a lot. I took a break from the game months ago though, most of my friends had stopped playing and it was starting to feel like a job/work lately, and when I seen people doing gear checks for heroic 5-man runs I knew it was time to take some time off.:P I do plan to get the new expansion when it comes out later this year, but most likely will just try out the new goblin/worgen races and see if any friends returned to the game.

I'm 39 years old and still enjoy playing videogames. Started when I was 6-7 years old when I got my first system(Atari 2600) for Christmas and now I own all three of the current systems. Though I do kind of snicker when someone says they are an old gamer and they're in the 25-29 age range.:P

What football video game do you think is the greatest ever made. I enjoy Madden, but my all time favorite has to be Tecmo Super Bowl. Other games may have been "better" but no other game was more fun.

Totally agree with you, I must've played that game close to a thousand times, taking nearly every team to the Super Bowl:lol: NFL Blitz was another football series I enjoyed, at least the first couple versions.

The one that isn't in the HoF yet, that really bothers me the most is Jerry Kramer, the OG of the Packers.

http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-network-top-ten/09000d5d80999c60/Top-Ten-Not-in-HOF-Jerry-Kramer

He is listed in the 1960's all decade team and I believe when the NFL did the 150 greatest players in the history of the league, he is the only one of the 150 that isn't in the HoF. Many of the so-called voters claim that offensive lineman don't have stats to show how good they are, yet when you think of the Packer sweep he is the one leading that play. Plus I've heard that some voters don't like too many of one team in the Hall, which has got to be the dumbest reason I ever heard.

Ray Guy, the great punter for the Raiders is another one that is being kept out by the stupid voters for the Hall. Many claim that the punter isn't an actual football position cause they don't handle the football that many times in a game, but how many times do receivers actually handle the ball in a game?, about the same as a punter. Factor in that there is an award with his name on it handed out to the top punter in college and I can't understand why he isn't in the Hall.

Salary Cap, but we will never see this happen in our lifetime unless people stop going to games and TV ratings go in the toilet.

DH or pitchers hit, wish MLB would choose one or the other.

No hitters stepping out of the box or pitchers stepping off the mound during play unless injury TO, umps maybe call ball or strike depending on what happens.

All Star game no longer affecting anything for world series, it's just an exhibition game that means nothing.

Reduce the number of games in a season or start earlier so the play-offs/world series aren't postponed due to snowstorms.:P

Reduce the amount of commercial breaks in a game by no break in-between innings.

No intentional walks, catcher will not be allowed out of the catching position during play, no standing up before the pitch is even made.

Well the MLB already has the luxury tax AKA "Screw the Yankees tax" which essentially puts a salary cap on teams. Commercials help give teams their revenues, the Mets and Yankees especially would be screwed if there were no commercial breaks. And what fun is it watching the pitcher make 20-25 warm up tosses on TV? And a no intentional walk rule would be impossible to regulate because they could just "intentionally" walk the batter but keep the pitches near the strike zone. Also what do you have against catchers standing up before a pitch-out?

NFL has revenue sharing and salary cap both can't see why MLB couldn't do it too. Not saying get rid of commercials completely, just cut 2-3 minutes off for each inning and you save 18-27 minutes a game, teams could make up for the loss of money with merchandise/ticket prices/higher commercial fees, can't tell me there is no way to offset the lose, they already have $50 hotdogs what is $1 more? Do pitchers really need 20-25 warm-up pitches between innings?? Thought managers were always worried about pitch counts, no wonder pitchers blow out their arms so much. Finally for the intentional walk deal, yeah pitchers could just throw outside but then that might lead to more wild pitches.I don't have anything against pitch-outs, but you don't see catchers standing before the pitch is even made otherwise the runners would know there was a pitch-out coming.

Can't believe I'm the first to put Staubach on their list. Roger>>Troy.Bobbles

I would've had him at #11 or 12 on my list, he was at the tailend of his career when I got to watch him play, great big game QB.
