Currently I enjoy Game Informer magazine, also used to get EGM, I know it is suppose to come back in Mar/Apr.
Dynasty warriors series, though I have to admit that when the 5th/6th one came out, even I started to grow tired of them.:P Loved the old beat'em up type gameof the past and these games were a nice stress reliever for me.
Well, for her, maybe it is, considering it's probably the only one she has ever seen/played:P
The release of Halo 2. After playing the first one every weekend with my friends since a few months after it's release, we were all super pumped to get the second one. The gameplay videos that were shown were sweet but they went in such a different direction than what they led on. I still remember to this day walking to my friends mom's car on the day it was released (we were sophomores at the time so we still had to be picked up from school). Then playing it and being like what the f@*& is this. Huge dissapointment.

Felt the same way, my nephew and I played the original over and over and were super pumped for Halo 2. We get the game and start playing, think we played it for about 30 minutes and kept waiting for it to grab us and it never did.
You can thank the BCS system for this predictament, why would teams jeopardize their records by playing tougher schedules? I know teams schedule years in advance too, so at the time a team might be pretty good, in 4-5 years down the road they might be a creampuff. Just look at Notre Dame, they used to one of the top teams in the country, now they are struggling to win games. Reasons for why the top teams play at home all the time against inferior teams is cause they can:P If you are the top dog, you set the rules, so if you're a wanna-be team that wants respect, you have to accept their arrangements.

The Packers give each player a cell phone that's paid for by the Packers.
Now Brett Favre has one of those phones. When the Green Bay Packers searched his call records what did they find?If you answered "The Minnesota Vikings" you win the prize lol
Yes, that's right. Brett Favre has been in contact with the Vikings which we already knew. Except to follow NFL rules he had to do it on his own personal time AWAY from anything to do with the Packers. Also not every call went straight to his friend, he called other areas of the Vikings complex as well.
Now the NFL has asked for the records of the Vikings as well. Now if tho9se calls show that there's contact they should be worried. If they show certain offices of the Vikings called Favre they should be scared, and if they show that the Vikings called a representative for Favre they're screwed.
This story gets better and better as the real Favre shows himself.

That still doesn't show the Vikings tampered. Favre can call them, but if they don't say anything about him coming to them or they call him, how is it tampering? If Peyton Manning calls Bellichick now, can it be tampering on the Patriots part? Probably not.
Also I've tried looking at it from Favre's perspective and it's not that bad. He wants to play and wants to play for a contender. He knows coming in and taking it from Rodgers is not right so he wants to be released.
Yes, under the current NFL precedent that's enough to get a tampering charge.
That's pretty stupid then. The Vikings didn't initiate the contact. If Favre calls them, how is it the Vikings fault?
It's the Viking's fault for not telling Favre that they can get in trouble for tampering, and that until his contract situation is taken care of they can not have any contact with him. They continued to be receptive to his calls and did not try to distance themselves from him, therefore they are in a major mess.
My choices for resurrection are Punch-Out!!, Star Control series, and Streets of Rage.
