Thought you could already do that since the firmware a while back with any 360?

It seems to me that all they're doing is throwing us a bone here and there just to keep us occupied for a short while. They made GT: HD, which according to general public reception, only did very averagely. Then TWO years later, they came up with GT5: P, which undeniably wasn't much of a success, but was rather some sort of lazy excuse because they probably realized their turtle-speed would achieve GT5 in 2011. What frustated me the most is the fact that they hype every iteration as the "best driving simulator out there", even though I very much suspect they know it's a half-finished piece of work. And then their GT: PSP (which was at work for almost 5 years or so), gets a 6.8 from IGN and a 7.0 from Eurogamer. Now I have had a PS3 for close to 3 years, and own GT: P myself.

Can we agree that we deserve better than their subpar products?

I played like an hour and I actually screamed of delight when the roar of the engines blasted through my surround system. The visuals are top notch, with the framerate almost never stuttering. The effects (dirt, water, collisions, etc) are outstanding. I played a few rounds online and I haven't encountered any lag. The handling seems proper for the nature of the ground but makes the game a notch harder than other racing games. All round very good, looking forward to playing the full game.

Best sky I've seen in a videogame.

Does anyone else sometimes suddenly have the urge to play one game in particular? I hope I'm not the only one. Most of the times it's a mediocre game, but I keep going back to it once in a while. For example, I once had a craving for Oblivion, which led me to install the game - even though I have judged it a waste of my time before. Then Far Cry 2 kept attracting me despite the fact that the aiming was ridiculously uncalibrated.

It probably sounds weird but I'm hoping I'm not the only one. What about you guys?

Looking forward to it. However, I'm worried about the lack of AA and the presence of poor res textures seen in the trailer - hope they are able to fix it for the final product.

If it's a RTS, I am blown away by the graphics and polished look of the game. Looking forward to see how big the battles are and how the framerate is gonna be.

MP still looks amazingly good, just take a look at the building details and character models. It already surpasses most console games solely in MP, so expect the SP to be breathtaking.

Killzone 2 is the exception to that rule, as the SP and MP share the same visual level.

The 80gb model has a software emulator for backward compatibility, whereas the 60gb model makes use of a hardware for it. Therefore, the 60gb model is compatible with all the PS2 games and can upscale them better.

In maybe half a decade we might find ourselves communicating with extraterrestrial beings and closer to what we currently consider "science fiction". This only makes me realize how insignificant our lives are on Earth, how religion is an invention.
