As much as I find the Israeli governments stance on Palestine abhorrent I have to say that I trust them much more with Nuclear Weapons than I would Iran. For the simple reason that Israel rely heavily on foreign subsidy and an unprovoked nuclear attack on one of their neighbours would result in international exclusion (not even worst case scenario).

Iran on the other hand has a leadership that is (no offence intended here) bat **** insane. They fund and train terrorist organisations, their leader's rhetoric usually involves how evil Israel is, how they should be expelled etc... There was substantial accuastions of vote rigging at the last election and riots, which means that forced regime change is likely on the cards.

If Iran made Nuclear Weapons it is highly likely that they would be sold to Hamas or Hezbollah - who might then sell them on.

Not to worry, can't be enforced accurately enough to be used effectivley. I've had letters from Virgin Media before telling me I was suspected of downloading copyrighted material. All they had to go on was that I had downloaded a large amount of data over a short time, even though that was the Windows 7 Beta from the actual windows website.

Though I'll admit i have used BitTorrent, but only for old films or music that have come into the free domain...

Couple o' jokes

I was checking into a hotel the other week. At the counter, a guy in front of me said curtly to the receptionist, "I hope the porn channel is disabled."

Unbelievable what some people are into.

When watching Michael Jackson's coffin being pushed away by the Jackson Brothers, was anybody else reminded of those two words...

Cool Runnings.

Yea he should be in jail with that man who shot down Iran Air Flight 655 - oh wait...

I think its nice to see a country doing something moral in the face of objections from the US; compassion for this man is what seperates us in the civilised world from those who would attempt to destroy it.

Good on you Scotland.

Solid_Snake56

So you support compassion for mass murder???

In this case yes, as far as I can make out - the Libya has officially admitted responsibility for this attack, so this man was was a government agent (not hard to work out in either case because of his background) - which puts it on par with (amongst others) the Iran Air Flight 655 which happened shortly prior to the Lockerbie disaster. Now I'll tell you what, you go find Captain Rogers - Captain of the US ship that shot down that flight - and demand that he be put in jail.

As a final note, I'm not condoning the actions of either man Lockerbie was an awful event as are any losses of human life.

I think everyone on earth would say they'd use it in some excellent and exciting way when, and lets be honest, they'd probably just use it Force Pull the remote when it was out of reach or make a sub while they watched Lost... Or Force Push the wife back into the kitchen...

A pub landlord is shutting up for the night when there is a knock at the door. When he answers, a Tramp asks him for a toothpick. He gives him the toothpick and the tramp leaves.

A few minutes later there is a second knock. When he answers, there is a second Tramp who also asks for a toothpick. He gets his toothpick and off he goes.

There is a third knock at the door, and a third Tramp. The landlord says, "Don't tell me, you want a toothpick too."

"No, a straw," says the Tramp.

The landlord gives him a straw but is curious as to why he wants it, so he asks the Tramp why he wants a straw and not a toothpick.

To which the Tramp replies, "Some bloke just threw up outside but all the good stuff's gone already".
