Enjoyable combat but the story does not draw you in.
I was really looking for a game I could immerse myself in. I enjoyed the environments of skyrim. I loved the story line in Dragon's Age and the Mass Effect series. This game does not draw me in. First are the graphics. T... Read Full Review

This is a great game that has ground breaking combat as well as quests with great story as well as important skills.
Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning is one of the best single player RPG's I have played so far. I really like how there were so many abilities, weapons, and attacks in a console game, where as there are usually just a few atta... Read Full Review

Reckoning may not be able to stand with the genre's best quite yet, but it's an excellent RPG all the same.
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is not Skyrim. There, I said it. There have been innumerable comparisons drawn between the two games since several months before Reckoning's release, but now that I have the title in hand ... Read Full Review

In my opinion it deserves a 9-10! It has the best combat in any RPG ever!
This game is amazing! For some reason gamespot didn't give it that much of a good rating, but I though it was brilliant. It has a immersieve world, with a lot of towns, loads of side quests and interesting factions. The ... Read Full Review

Once you get going, KOAR actually becomes quite an engrossing adventure.
From GameSpot's review, I wasn't expecting a whole lot but I played the demo and decided to plunk down $60 for the real thing. I'm glad I did. Although I agree that some of the quests are rather generic and unengaging, I... Read Full Review

Don't Judge By The Demo!
I have read so many people complaining about this game and all they have played is the demo. You can never judge a game by a demo. Get for real people. I have actually played the game itself with an OPEN mind and WITH... Read Full Review

Early Game of the Year front runner!
This game is really really good, surprisingly so. I never thought I would be more into this game than I am Skryim and I love Skyrim but the fact that I haven't played Skyrim since I got KoA, that says something! It's... Read Full Review

Gamespot has this game underrated. A must play for any Action/RPG fan.
I'll start by saying I think Gamespot's 7.5 for this game is selling it short. This game is definitely worth of a rating between 8.0 and 9.0. The most similar game(s) I can compare Reckoning to are the Fable series, s... Read Full Review

Kingdom of Reckoning in its own right. Sometimes gamers make comparisons to judge the merits of a game
Kingdom of Reckoning in its own right is a fun game to play. I know that many gamers have compared it to various games and although those comparison have similarities, what of RECKONING ITSELF. After playing the demo, ... Read Full Review

Good game, with issues
Overall this is an OCD nightmare. You can't turn and cough without seeing something to loot or a plant to pick. Once you max out "Detect Hidden" you can't get anywhere without ignoring so much wonderful loot. Not a ba... Read Full Review
