Kingdom of Reckoning in its own right is a fun game to play. I know that many gamers have compared it to various games and although those comparison have similarities, what of RECKONING ITSELF. After playing the demo, I wasn't over excited about going out and spending 60 bucks on this game. But then I began to read the gamer reviews and thought I would give it a shot. To my surprise it was much more than my demo experience. Its not an awesome game, but it is a fun game. I have a fondness for RPGs and this game is just fun to play. Reckoning has its own story and its own world. The story has me exploring more just to find out where I should go next and who I should talk to next. The world is massive and colorful. The loot is everywhere and its just plain fun to take the new potions and weapons and just try them out to see what happens. The combat system is the heart of the game and it does not disappoint. It is a simple system to use and enjoyable to watch. Like most RPGs there is a lot of running around and ,in some cases, back trracking to be done. Most of what you do is by trail by error but you are given a lot of freedom to explore different types of combat in all of the major classes, to choose what best suits your style. I have a little more than 25 hours in the game so I am not, by any means, an expert yet. The music, graphics and story are not your class A titles but very good in their own right. I will write more later as I get further in the game. But Reckoning in its own right is a very good game and worth your time and money.
