No, I rip music from CDs onto my computer.
About 300 GB. I have like 20 gig of music D:aaronmullan
I keep all my music on my pc too, I never want to have to upload my cd collection for my ipod again. Â
It took forever! :x
I currently have 320 GB of space on my laptop and I've got 140 GB of music on there. Two months worth if played back to back. :?
Looks like you won't need to worry about running out :lol:aaronmullan
it may sound funny, but I bought this laptop just for my cd collection, since I've moved I have to keep my cd's in storage. Â I have over 2000 and don't have the room if I want to keep my guitars out. Â When my last ipod died I couldn't listen to my music till I did this. :PÂ
Let us see!
Â
About the computer memory thing, I just download my music from frostwire, then put it on iTunes then to my iTouch. Then delete the music off my computer so it doesn't take up any memory. Because i'm smart like that :P.SonicRenegade84
I deleted my cd's off the pc/Itunes the first time around to free up space. Â Then the battery on my ipod died and I had to load it all over again. Â It took so long I'm just leaving it on my pc, that way if something happens to this ipod I just need to re-synch it. :PÂ

i use last fm on my 360 but hate it at times becuse it lacks the ability to search for individual music:evil:ResistanceUFC
well that feature is now gone from last.fm on the pc too. Â
on 4/12 they did away with streaming 'on demand' songs, and playlists. Â You no longer can hear full versions of songs of your choice now, just their radio stream of songs like on xbl. Â pissses me off because I used that feature quite a bit.
So I guess I'm just scrobbling what I'm listening to on my ipod to their data bank so they can use the demographic data. Â At least before I was getting something for it besides a chart.Â
it was cool to get to listen to every song on an album though.
You just had to sit there to hit the play button at the beginning of each song. There was a 3x per song limit though. Still it helped me decide if an album was worth purchasing or not.
and the scrobbles counted towards your library and charts. ;)
