I use Last.FM just for statistics. Most of the time I don't even use it for finding new bands.kingkilla3I use it mostly to find new artists similar to the ones I listen to.
The Stats are just an added bonus for me.

As do I.
And as do I
I think it's possibly the best way out there for new artists. All the recommendations. You can just look for a genre then it lists bands etc.

Except for random people I'm yet to find something on there that I haven't heard that I really liked. xD The major flaw with it is it going by popularity/hype on the genre page. I think wikipedia or youtube is a bit better for that sort of thing, but I don't really any of those things necessary for finding new stuff.
Unless you're talking about something else there.
The recommended artist on particular artists pages I find a bit better, but generally the majority of the recommendations I've heard of/would have pretty soon if it weren't for last.fm. xD
[QUOTE="aaronmullan"]I had all black and white and all colour once :PFoolz3h
That's very easy to do because everyone loves black and white band pictures. ANGRYFACE
So is all colour D;

The predisposition towards black and white band pictures is an observed scientific phenomenon that takes place at last.fm. :P

I thought you meant literally D:aaronmullan
It's Englands fault! They're responsible fro all the whites.
Except for The Residents whoa re definitely white, but you can pretend they're black because officially their identities are unkown.
It'd be pretty easy to make an all black or all white person list. Other races would be a bit harder in my library probbly, and so would all women.
