The Longest Journey is not discounted. :( It's 9,99€. There's a good chance it'll be a daily special, though. I highly recommend the game, it's one of my all-time favorites.

I tried the demo but it seems so slow... I just want to read a book, not point and click all the time. PC gaming is tiresome, I just want to watch someone else play it while I relax. But I have no one else...

I have King's Bounty, and when I downloaded The Witcher demo I couldn't get it to run, despite more than meeting the minimum requirements. Believe me, I want to play The Witcher very badly, I just lack the knowledge required to make it happen.:(rragnaar

What little headway I had made with my game backlog is about to be destroyed once again by Steam. Once you start looking under the different (and smaller, like 1C) publishers and see how many games are on sale - it's pretty overwhelming.

Also - King's Bounty series = gaming crack. A steal at $9.99 for both in the gold edition.
