I'm getting The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom.

Dragon Age Awakening is tempting, and I'm glad I didn't buy it during EA's sale as it's cheaper now (I'd like it cheaper, but hey). Anyone know how much gameplay is in there compared to the original game?DJ_Laeabout 20-25 more hours if you do everything you want to do in the game

A little less probably I did it in 18 hrs. It is good though, there are quality interactions between your nps, some fun quests... overall id say go for it.
 So weird.
Then again, Dragon Age characters are known for being attention whores, though.
SteelAttack
I love that one. People post the gif of that all the time on NeoGaf and I lose it every time.
I alsoenjoy the Leliana one - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DF4UIFT47gk
I got ArmA II June 29th. Its probably going to be the only game I'll get this sale, but I'm having fun with it so far.
[QUOTE="rragnaar"]I picked up Thief, Titan Quest and P.B. Winterbottom. This sale is so great.dvader654How is Winterbottom. It is still downloading, but I'll post impressions when I get a chance... I also just bought inFamous off of PSN, so I'm gonna be downloading stuff all night.
I think we're all very grateful you never installed the very popular mod that really makes the characters literally be naked when the clothes come off... :lol:Awakening seems to have robbed my character of his clothing.

Thief looks very good but I am afraid it will kill my computer.dvader654Try the demo. Seriously, this level is one of the scariest, most horrible experiences you can find in games. Like the worst parts of Shadow of Chernobyl only much more drawn out. I played it once and will never, ever do it again. And I mean all this in a good way btw. :P

I've been checking out too many different games lately.
Cross Winterbottom off my playing list... My PC can't run it...muthsera666Step 1> credit card. Step 2> New gaming pc Step 3> Profit.
[QUOTE="muthsera666"]All you have to do is open your pet's inventory. Or, I think if you hold Shift and click on an item, it will transfer it to the pet's inventory. Then you just click the little moneybag icon on the pet's box, and he'll take off.ChiliDragonIf it's that easy I'm going to feel really stupid when I try it tonight. I need to get out of the habit of starting new games late late at night. :D As it turns out, there is a paw-shaped icon right beside the blue mana-meter in the middle of the skill bar, that I just missed because it was past midnight and I was tired. When I click on that icon Bagheera's inventory window comes up and I can move all the sellable loot to him with shift-click, and then I click the money bag next to his health meter to send him back to town to sell the stuff. Being able to send the pet back to town to sell off loot is GENIUS, by the way. :D

Student loans are $660 a month. I bring home $900 a month if I'm lucky. Which basically covers car insurance and gas and leaves me $120 to actually spend a month. And I need to buy four new tires for my car. I hate the idea of carrying a balance on my credit cards cause I'm already paying $20,000 in interest on the student loans.

At least you have your priorities straight... I've known way to many gullible ones who kept putting large expenses on credit cards, and then woke up to a NASTY surprise 15 years later. Don't make that mistake.

Don't make that mistake. It's been tempting some times. And the Steam sale hasn't helped. And the massive online Xbox purchases for a couple of months, but I do finally have my priorities in line. For a while I had two jobs, so I did have some extra cash, but now it's down to one part time job for now. The bad thing is that I usually get seven or eight days per pay instead of the full-time ten, but that means that I can't very easily pick up another part-time job because I won't have the time. So, if I get another job, I'm going to have to drop the one I have right now. But I'm kind of hoping that it leads to something bigger. Luckily my parents are letting me live at home, relatively free of charge, so that really helps out.

Awww dammit i feel bad. One of my first complaints of the game is that certain DLc doesn't transfer to awakenings and I think it's ****ing stupid. I mean Bioware created the DLc and the expansion...you'd think they would work together. anyways my rogue character only lost a few items, mostly rings and a couple of skillls from the soldiers peak DLC....so it didn't up as bad as your guy with a helmet and his codpiece showing. I forgot to warn you about that....my bad.Awww dammit i feel bad. One of my first complaints of the game is that certain DLc doesn't transfer to awakenings and I think it's ****ing stupid. It was just weird playing the first half hour or so with a dude in his undewear and punching Darkspawn in the face as my sword was also part of the previous DLC (I guess). You'd think Bioware would reward people who gave them more money, not punish them. Even now I'm using the armor of the dead chick (crappy chainmail) and a plain longsword. It's a bit ridiculous.
I picked up Winterbottom and Thief. Always wanted to check out Thief, can't go wrong with it being 3 Euros. I mean, seriously.
I got it for Xbox a little while ago, but I'm thinking about getting it for PC as well...I picked up Winterbottom and Thief. Always wanted to check out Thief, can't go wrong with it being 3 Euros. I mean, seriously.

Ooh, Borderlands for 10 Euros. I've heard good things about this game, why the hell isn't there a demo? Should I go for it? Go on, encourage me.

People on another forum tell me that, uh, it's not very well optimized. Sounds like it was a quick and dirty PC port that they spent very little time on, focusing on the consoles instead.
i cant say much about the pc port, but the game itself is good for co-op. youll probably get bored pretty quick in single player due to the dull quest design (fetch quests and blocks of text), but co-op will allow for individual playstyles to shine. the art style is pretty cool too.Ooh, Borderlands for 10 Euros. well theres lots of pop in and load times on any version if thats what the problems were. its because they completely changed the art direction last minute.[QUOTE="UpInFlames"]i cant say much about the pc port, but the game itself is good for co-op. youll probably get bored pretty quick in single player due to the dull quest design (fetch quests and blocks of text), but co-op will allow for individual playstyles to shine. the art style is pretty cool too.Ooh, Borderlands for 10 Euros. What kind of lenght are we talking about here? I'm hoping it doesn't outstay its welcome.

its fairly short as far as diablo-type games go with a level cap at 50 (unless they include dlc in the steam deal), which you wont even hit on a single playthrough. 20-25 hours sounds about right. Please Log In to post.
