The expo seems to be getting better each year, starting it seems to look more like a proper gaming expo as well. But this is me comparing to when they first started. Hopefully it will come to Melbourne at somepoint. Although knowing me I won't end up going because my mates won't. :/
@jadeinshades I was literally just watching a video about this mission. Unfortunately R* removed the replay option through the patch but you can bypass it by hitting R2?. I'm going to try it. I wouldn't mind repeating this mission and the 1 that starts with H or something, it's the other 1 where Gerald asks you to watch over a trade and then it goes wrong and you end up taking out the gang hideout by blowing up the cars and then you have to kill the gang leader. It takes longer, I know, but it adds a bit of variety to the grind I guess. I hope the missions get a little more varied later on. I miss being able to run through gang hideouts from RDR.
@JBStone1981 Yeah it's a pretty dog move, they even said it wouldn't effect gameplay but it seems like it does. I might give things another shot tonight, apparently you can bookmark missions, so I'll see if I can bookmark the good 1s. If R* don't fix this too soon, the amount of people playing will degrade at a rapid pace. I don't understand why they couldn't just use the mechanics from RDR and combine GTA Vs SP elements togheter -.-
Has anyone found a good way to make money in this bloody game yet? I've robbed all the stores and there's 1 mission that Gerald gives you to make 9k but it rarely pops up for me. All the other missions are the same and only give like 2-5k. The missions that show up on the map are just TDM/DM type games which to me doesn't count as a mission. Bit sneaky on R*'s behalf there. Otherwise I'm not finding it to be a great online experience at the moment, I can't find anything to do that interests me.
@Falcon084 I've been wanting to do video reviews with my mates because it includes multiple opinions. Now days, because games are more varied a single reviewer isn't enough. I end up checking metacritic for a better idea of a score.
@neowarrior121 It won't matter with SteamOS xD I'll just use 2 OSs. Sometimes I have times where I just hop on the PC to game and do nothing more. And with an SSD I can just reboot to switch. But for now I'll leave Linux alone.
A Titan on it's own down here can retail up to $1500AUD (no doubt still an expensive card in US at the cheaper alternative). This box will be expensive, if they're not careful they will piss off some retailers and suppliers if the price is too low. I mean if you can swap out the GPU and the steam box has a titan, i7 etc...for less than $1000, what idiot in their right mind would buy a titan on it's own for an extra $500 when they can buy a steam box with other parts? lol This idea is okay for people who just want a pre-built PC but that's all it really is at this stage, a pre-built PC designed for the living room and designed for someone who either doesn't know computers or doesn't want the hassle of building 1. After working in an IT store long enough, all I can say is the price for a proper high end steam box, not even including the Titan, still won't be as competative with next gen, of course the specs will be, that's a given as you can obviously upgrade whenever you want and PCs are constantly changing to a point where a new CPU comes out every 6-12months. Maybe the i3 version might stand a chance as competative. So far only thing I'm liking from Steams announcements is their new OS. I'll install it as a 2nd OS as I've been wanting to try Linux as an OS for gaming but I heard there's a bit of work involved for the drivers.
