After the horrible XBox 360 release, and the unprecedented high failure rate of it due to the red ring of death, anyone who buys an XBox One is a fool and will get what they deserve. After all, those who forget history are doomed to repeat it.
The new footplanting mechanics they hyped for months are a joke. Instead of getting footplanting right with proper movement that accounts for weight and momentum, they put in fake footplanting in an attempt to cover up the missing animations resulting in utterly inhuman feats of foot work. The game plays the same, but with extra unrealistic footwork animations that don't mean a thing with regards to movement.
@Adavanter @valdarez @jd7904 I've lost count of the consoles and controllers I've thrown away now for Microsoft products. Granted, I"ve played a LOT, but when you're at 6 or 7 consoles, and you've personally fixed 2 of them, and Microsoft fixed a couple of them, and to this day only 2 function, how can you want to support the company that sold them to you? On top of that, the controllers have gone bad for me at an alarming rate (and no, I don't throw/misuse them). It's usually the Y or the A button, but they eventually quick popping back up, again another Hardware issue.
Those issues makes it VERY hard for this gamer to want to buy, much less support, Microsoft and their new console. My purchase of a PS4 is simply to protect my pocket book from the !@#$ that Microsoft is willing to put on the store shelves.
@jd7904 @leviathanwing I've gamed since original Atari, and still have all of the Atari games too. Sad thing is, I couldn't even get to all those 360 games. I just kept buying if I saw one used for $15 or less.
