I guess Bioware/EA will finally get the wake-up call they need when ME4 turns out to be a sales flop. Maybe then they'll at least attempt to fix the nonsense that was the ME3 ending, instead of just extending it.
To clarify, my quarrel with ME3 wasn't that it was too short, or that things did not go the way I wanted. My issue was that the ending lack cohesion, was made purposely as vague as possible, and insisted on cutting the players off with no real sense of closure.
It wasn't a bad game; the controls were decent for a console RTS, and the story was done well enough to be a legitimate (though rather inconsequential) addition to the overall canon.
That being said, I do think it cheapens the overall brand, because the game was an obvious cash-in from the start.
