I don't wish to sound snarky but what is the point of this 'reality check' feature? The subjects seem incredibly random and in some cases, if i was cynical, could be regarded as simply a way of generating hits by playing to the gallery in the most obvious ways. 'Are you a fanboy?' Seems like a pretty low-rent topic guaranteed to cause reaction. ''Do you collect games?' Well I AM on a videogame website so...probably.

How about some articles that aren't just cobbled together in a lazy way? Maybe something on retro games or interviews with the big players in the industry both current and past. Maybe look at the niche gaming markets and what's trending in other parts of the world outside of the states. It's summer so there's a lull in big releases, I get that...all I'm saying is that there's a big wide world of topics to explore and these articles, so far, seem to be missing an opportunity.

Such a shame to hear the news of Ryan Davis' untimely death. I loved watching his reviews and videos on GS back when he and Jeff Gerstmann used to rule the coop. The thing i'll miss most is simply his passion for whatever he talked about. Wether you agreed with him or not, you knew it was all coming from the heart. He had one of those infectious personalities and you could tell he was probably a big softy who simply loved what he was doing.

My thoughts are with those he left behind, his family and, not forgetting, his colleagues both here and over at Giant Bomb.

@stanknuggetz12 can they still be called 'arcade games' if they've never actually appeared in an arcade?
