back about 8 years ago, I was playing an online game (forgot the name) and I set my name as sephiroth, but it was taken, so I changed it around and made sepheron.  But I didn't find sepheron catchy, so I made it as sepheron5, which lasted me for a long time till recently (5 years ago) I changed it to sepheronx (x being seperate from sepheron).  But what I never noticed was sepheron was a spice......

you know whats better? building a console with PC parts.  I built one a while back (sold it though, not a huge gamer anymore) were I had wireless everything through a bluetooth port, and even though it hosted an 6800xt (long ago) it had an aftermarket cooler, and was able to overclock and even unlock some settings.  With that, It had a single core AMD 3000+ running at 2.2ghz with cheap 1gig of ram and a 60gb hard drive, and a 400w Fortron PSU that cost me 35 bucks (ran perfect, until recently).

It ran all the games I wanted to at high settings up until like FEAR came out, were it would run everything on high, but not maximum, on 1024x768, and some high and medium settings on 1280x1024.  It also allowed me through an adapter, to connect my 400w Sony 1980 stereo (let me tell you, that thing is a BEAST) and with another adapter (usally comes with gpu) can connect it through the TV ports of an HDTV.  Great picture and quality, it was a real gaming consol killer (especialy after some software tweaking).

What im getting is, PC hardware does not need to be expensive, a little bit of upgrading here and there, you can easily have a powerful system.  Not to mention with this ReadyBoost function in Vista, 1 - 1.5gig of ram with a 2gig flash ram seems to be sufficient enough to play high end gaming with reduced to almost non in hickups.

Filefront is great for downloading and yes, getting beta's for stuff.  But Fileplanet seems to get more beta's then anyone else, so if you got a payed membership their, then thats great and all, but if not, filefront is better.

On top, i love its hosting stuff!

if the OP is talking about Boiling Point: Road to Hell or something like that, then be prepaired to be austonished of the craptastic gameplay.  No offense to it, but for the time it was released, could have used better graphics and better dialouge.  And finally, the bugs.  There was way too many glitches, I don't even know were to start.  The game was kind of fun for the first part, but kind of annoying later on.  But the best part of the game though, is if you do indeed get stuck in the jungle, your gonna have to defend yourself from the beasts of the jungle!!!

yeah, our world is pretty sad.  I remember EB games here in Kamloops was packed with tons of PC video games, then 1 day, they all started to dissapear and was told that they were not selling too well.  So I was like "do you know the major fanbase on PC video games?" and he said "YEs, it is indeed very huge, and could make tons of money off of it, but most PC games are now bought online, so you don't need to come here to get a game, but order it online, get it and away you go!" and I thought "wow, if console did this, these guys would go out of buisness.

But I find it interesting, most people like to buy their games online, when I rather have a cd just incase something happens.

The main problem with your idea is, if you are constantly adding in something to the game to play it, then the game will be bloated with not just useless information (since new key will outdate old one) but also, an easy way to stop the information being traveld to the PC in order to create the new key, so your last one will still be viewd as valid.  If you are saying that they re-create the game or add in new sections and content each day (stuff to complete the game) then no one would have technicaly a game to start with, and would cause liability issues with the company and the consumer.

No matter what, everything has a way around it, limitations in windows has a way around it, gaming online has a way around it.  And what really hurts, is the countrys that have no limitations.  In Canada, we are allowed to download and such as, or create private servers so pirates can play on.  And yes, steam was hacked, there is 2 fake steam programs that come to my mind, that allows you to play all hacked Steam games, although, can only connect to private servers.

what does slow down games with a full Hard drive, is when the hard drive is starting to load the information (instead of ram, cause ram run out during gameplay) that trying to find the information, takea  while, so slowdowns in the game (not FPS wise, but more of simply, jittery issue) so I suggest defraging the Hard drive quite often.

no, not really, at high resolutions, the e6300 will be no real different then the e6600.  But you could always get the e6300 and overclock it (REAL easy) to high speeds so there is no bottleneck.
