This is a bit of a weired problem but after installing my new X-FI sound card the sound is coming through the wrong sides (Left is Right and Right is Left) this is really annoying when playing games as I rely on my headphones to tell which side enemys are coming from. Anyone encountered this before? I have resulted to wearing my headset backwards to fix the problem but the mic just doen't feel right on the other side.

1. I don't really like using the word "bottleneck" but if you want a yes or no answer then yes, your 4800+ wouldn't be able to keep up with the HD4850, if you want another AMD X2 then try and get your hands on a 6400+ Black Edition. If you can spare the extra cash I would get a HD4870 but if you can't the HD4850 is still a great card.

2. Yes, make sure it has at least 1 6-pin connector but I should expect that a quality brand like Antec would do.

3. Really depends on what resolution but no I would highly not recommend it.

4. I put my recommendations above :)

The Vcore is the voltage going into your CPU, if it doesn't say Vcore just look for something like CPU Voltage, you only need to increase this a tiny margin something like +0.125 usually does the trick. Also ensure that your memory fequency is in ratio with your FSB.

Nice build, I personally don't like the 9800GX2 because I just don't think Nvidia has perfected the whole single-card SLI as of yet, you might get problems like microstuttering and the card runs pretty hot too, a GTX260 or 4870 would be a better option IMO. The E8400 is very easy to OC with a $40 cooler you can easily get it upto and past 4.0Ghz and on the same level as the Q6600. Also unless you are planning on running 3X GTX280's then you need nowhere near a 1200W PSU, what was you thing when you picked that. A 600W would be more than enough.

Well what are you using it for other thank WoW, CS? I have about 50GB worth of music and 70GB worth of steam games so anything less than 500GB wouldn't do for me PERSONALLY. But I know some people who just use their PC for MSN who still manage easily with an 80GB.

Only a few current games currently support Quad core, so at the moment you are better going for a C2D with a high clock speed which was massive overclocking capability. I can take my E8400 from 3.0 stock to about 4.1 with only a minor voltage increase.

I sometimes get jerks especially in CoD4 or TF2 if I leave u-torrent or MSN open in the background, if for some reason u-torrent suddenly spikes upto 30% CPU useage you will get jerks. Open task manager and close any P2P or IM programs, only have open stuff that you need.
