Can we not build our own Steam Machine? As in, build a PC and just install SteamOS? Or, just try and build a smaller rig and install Windows, and just connect it to the TV via HDMI?
I'm interested, just don't get the market this is aimed at.

As someone who usually stumbles home from the pub a little bit... merry, and attempts to play Rocksmith or some form of fighting game at stupid 'o clock in the morning, I can safely say alcohol does NOT improve guitar or gaming skills.
Is it my imagination or is Jess' New Year resolution seem to be to talk a wee bit slower? Either that or someone is still slightly hanging after New Years eve.
The sexism thing is still a problem. I think the root of it is a lack of female input within the industry. Sure there are plenty of female game designers out there and more and more are coming in, but it's still a very male dominated industry. So you get guys writing female characters and to be honest, most men struggle to understand the female way of thinking so resort to stereotypes.
That's not to say there aren't strong female characters in gaming. It also swings both ways with game designers oftern making males look like the Hulk and giving them an uber masculine personality.
As for Nintendo... Release Pokebank soon or lose me for ever!

Loved that episode, probably because it was Pokemon. At 27 years if age I still play. I was looking forward to it as much as GTA. In fact, I'm having a four hour tattoo session on Monday to get Magikarp tattooed on my arm... I'm that hardcore. Or geeky. Or stupid. Or all of the above...
Pokemon's appeal? Collecting, trading and battling. If you've ever been into a trading card game it's a similar concept. As you catch the cute little critters you'll find yourself actually getting attached to them. Not so attached you're worried about putting them in harms way, but it is slightly upsetting when the feint...
