UPDATE 3/11: Upon further evaluation, despite not being much of a multiplayer gamer at all, I think the game looks fun enough to warrant giving it a shot.

With each new console generation, I always try to broaden my horizons a bit and try a game or modes that I didn't often play before. Titanfall will be the first game of this cycle that I try that with.

I will pick up Titanfall this morning on disc so that, just in case I can't get into it, I can sell it to recoup most of my money. Should I really get into it, I'll still sell it (unless I love it I"ll keep it for collection purposes) and buy the digital version.

See you all on Titanfall!

ORIGINAL POST: As I'm not much of a multiplayer gamer, Titanfall is not on my radar.

Shame, too, because I think the game looks pretty cool.

If only it had a single player campaign...

Oh, as for the poll, were I to buy Titanfall, I would buy the digital version, like I do all of my games nowadays.

You guys too, huh?

It started for me yesterday (the first time I used my XBO since the most recent patch). "Xbox, turn off"; XBO asks "are you sure?"; "Yes", I say...no response from the XBO, making me turn it off with the controller or power button.

That command has always worked for me, so it's most frustrating that it suddenly does not.

Hopefully this gets addressed ASAP.

Great number. Good for them.

Too bad for me, though, that I hated the game.

And now Sony has suspended the "redeem voucher" functionality.

*sigh*

So much for spending my Saturday morning playing Lego Marvel Super Heroes (digital) that I just bought for $40 from Amazon.

It really is always something with Sony.

Many/most hated it originally; highly doubtful revisiting it would change many minds. At this point most minds are likely made up.

I personally thought it was really good. Certainly not without flaws, but I thought it was good. Great tension and atmosphere existed within ZombiU. I would love to see another entry, but I doubt we will, sadly.

The jump in graphical quality isn't there? Tell that to those of us enjoying Ryse or Killzone: Shadow Fall. Ryse, in particular, is absolutely stunning; leaps and bounds better than anything else available, IMO. To think that it looks like that at launch, and that games will only look better as we move forward is very exciting.

Cannot agree with you at all. Both PS4 and XBO are spectacular consoles so far, IMO. As an owner of both I am having an amazing time with both. The future is incredibly bright.

Standby mode.

I love being able to pause Dead Rising 3, put the XBO into standby mode, and be able to wake the system and have my game be right there in the pause menu when I resume the game. Such an incredible feature, one that I had always wished consoles could do.
