As I'm going all digital with PS4 so I can take full advantage of remote play with Vita, I haven't pre-ordered any PS4 games.

This past week, however, Sony has put Knack up for pre-order on the PS Store, and if they happen to do the same with the two PS4 games I plan to buy at launch --Killzone and ACIV-- prior to 10/29, I will pre-order them to take advantage of the special they're running (spend $50 get $10 back).

I will be buying both at launch. PS4 with Assassin's Creed IV and Killzone, and Xbox One with Dead Rising 3.

I'm tired of this generation of consoles. They take long to boot, long to load anything, they lack the ability to multitask, they take forever to move into and out of apps, most games run at sub-HD. This generation has just gone on too long for me. It's time to see what the incredible developers like Naughty Dog, Rockstar, Sony Santa Monica, Bethesda and others can do with new hardware.

I had a ton of fun with PS3 and 360, but the time has come to move on from them being my primary consoles.

Can't wait for 11/15 and 11/22 so PS4 and XBO can take their place alongside my PC and Wii U, replacing their tired (if awesome) predecessors.

@muthsera666:

I wasn't trying to be exact about the time. :P

Just trying to say that it wouldn't take as long as the delivery from UPS, or much/any longer than waiting for the game stores to open.

Been trying to get excited about this game since E3, but, gorgeous as it is graphically, the gameplay looks mediocre, IMO.

Really hoping a demo can change my mind. If one isn't available I just can't see me dropping $60 on this. I buy games when the price matches my interest. In no way do I have $60 of interest in Ryse.

Still, I'm rotting for this game to be good.

Thanks for the impressions.

Me, I wouldn't play the PS4 or any console if I came across it. I want the launch day to be a brand new experience for me. Playing it beforehand would take away a bit of the excitement of getting it at launch.

That said, is it 11/15 yet?!?!?

Doesn't bother me. That's what HDDs are for - storing stuff. What's the point in having one if worrying about space is an issue? Simply upgrade the HDD or delete games as needed to make space. There's always a way to solve the space issue.

Unless one has a data cap or horrid internet speeds, I really don't see the issue with large downloads.

Downloads can take a while, sure, but, since I do most of my buying online and the UPS deliveries I get are always after 5pm, waiting for the delivery will take longer than the download. Even if I was going to go to the store no store near me that sells games opens earlier than 8am, so as long as the download is up at midnight the time difference won't be an issue in that scenario, either.

For me, especially with PS4, I intend to go all digital so that I can take full advantage of remote play with Vita. With discs I will have to swap them out to change games, thus negating a lot of the point of remote play. To be honest, though, I will still buy some games, say an Uncharted collector's edition on disc, but I would also buy the download version to retain the unshackled freedom that downloads provide.

I'm excited about getting my games on console the way I do my games on PC. I remember when Tomb Raider came out how I was playing the game at 9pm pacific time on Monday night, 3 hours before the actual release date on Tuesday because of the ability to pre-load. That was awesome. I hope that consoles will offer pre-load as well because that's a huge win for downloads.

Project Spark for sure.

Zoo Tycoon, nope, not in the least.
