@Biotasticmeat Fair enough. They definately have great games but so will the PS4. Personally I'm worried about 24 hour phone-homes, and the always on camera that I'll never need and all these features that are american-centric (i dont live in the US) and probably push the price up. I could go on and on but I'm sure you've seen what people are concerned about. I currently own a 360 and all I wanted was a games console, thats actually focused on games and so far Sony seems to know whats up. It's not fanboyism mate, if you look at the comments objectively, you will find that most gamers actually do have genuine and understandable concerns about the XB1 which MS have failed to address so far to be fair.
Although Sony has already won, I hope MS Xbox isnt put out of business over this. Competition is always good. I hope Xbox makes barely enough to survive/break even, but not total collapse
MS will need to pull a rabbit out of their hat at E3 to convince me to buy this thing. Based on what they've said so far though you can count me out and it would really take something drastic for me to change my mind. Maybe if they sold it at a ridiculous price like $100 or something crazy. seriously...a spy cam and console that comes complete with a dashboard full of intrusive adverts that donminate my screen space more than the game itself lol, phone-home-daily DRM, 100 features that will push up the price of the console which i'll never use or need, can't travel with my console because it always needs to phone home in order to work, its going to increase my monthly budget because now I have to factor in internet costs in order for it to work? Basically MS are making the entire piracy problem mine by forcing me to pay a third party (internet) constant fees to keep my single player "offline" games working because they can't be bothered coming up with a better system to guard against it.
@digits52 @mwamba1 I found the PS controller a bit too small and I play a lot of FPS so I preferred the trigger shape of xbox pad. also the positioning of the analogue sticks. No big deal though but thats probably what I'll miss the most. I have noticed though the new shape of PS4 controller (RT and LT)is more trigger-like in shape which is nice.
@Fryboy101 @mwamba1 By the way from what I know the only people that will receive "special rights" not to have the console phone home every 24 hours are those in special forces/soldiers etc. 3/4 of the uses of X1 aren't applicable where I'm from and besides I find them totally useless. they just rename this device to USAbox1
