You do realize that PC ranges from solitaire all the way up to the top of the line graphics, right? Just because there are a lot of simple graphics games doesn't discount the powerhouses and the power of the hardware.
You don't think Crysis 3 on PC was a "next gen" title when it came out? BF3? Those were absolutley different from their console coutnerparts in terms of technical merits, and in the case of BF3, in many other ways as well.
Do you think a game liek Rome II, with 10,000 troops on the screen at the same time runnign AI and pathfinding is somehting even an Xbone could do?
No Crysis 3 wasn't. Look at how restrictive it all is, sure it looks good but the gameplay is aimed towards a console and a controller. Compare it to Crysis 1
Rome and Star Citizen are a few exceptions but by and large consoles are where devs go to with their games first because of the money there and PC gets a lot of ports
What would you say makes a gen "next gen" from one to the next? Using Crysis if they hypothetically made Crysis 4 what would make it a next gen game over Crysis 1,2 and 3?
@clone01: Its the same thing for the PS4 too except Flower got ported over. No backwards compatibility because they want to extend the life of previous consoles and they also get to resell you the games you already bought.

Yeah for that long this has happen on PC,hell hackers could even turn your laptop camera or desktop one to.
Yes porn has been on PC since practically the PC was created, but Usually those sites and activities are generally in areas that are marked as porn or in nefarious locations (Warez sites). Not something you should stumble on while playing a game.

That's not how it works kiddo. When determining pc version, the game at maxxed settings is what is taken into account. You're just trying to downplay the pc version being the definitive version.
It won't run better on my PC, that's for sure. And it won't on well over 90% of other PCs either.

That is true, not all PC's are equal. However, what you are missing is that PC's can be made better depending on how much money you want to invest in your entertainment (or other needs). No matter how much money you have you can never improve your experience on consoles until the next gen comes out and you have to pop out for a completely new unit. With a PC you can get a new graphics card (RAM, CPU, etc...), which if you don't want to spend top dollar on you just wait and it goes down in price relatively quickly. With console the price drop takes longer to go down even after the newer model has come out.
