@fatee This Killzone already looks better than the previous titles, so don't knock it till you try it.

@xMAGOGxKruelgor I think it greatly resembles the original game. It's missing a few features of course, to streamline it for the console versions, but that doesn't automatically mean the game sucks. This is a great game, you probably just won't let your nostalgia see it.

Yeah, because games like The Last of Us and BioShock Infinite totally don't fit the bill. Not to mention the fact that GameSpot isn't the only gaming website out there. We've seen plenty of 9s, 9.5s, and 10s from console games. Keep an open mind and stop saying stupid things.

Meh, this always happens. Valve always takes their time with games. That being said, I'm not all that excited. I didn't care much for the Half-Life series, so this news doesn't affect me as much.

@Shinra_Tensei4 @marcheegsr Dishonored took influence from the original Thief games. If anything, Dishonored is trying to be like Thief.

@dmastor "catch up with MS"? If anything, MS has been trying to catch up to Sony for the past couple of months. Have you not been paying attention at all? And this shouldn't be a surprise, since Sony has always been about bringing TV entertainment first. The company makes TVs too, after all.

@madsnakehhh The problem is that the mechanics didn't age well. Sure, it was a good game when it first came out, but in today's market, nostalgia doesn't really count for much if the game itself doesn't play well.

@KeenoControl Not really. In art style, BioShock 1 does have a very great upper hand. In everything else, BioShock Infinite has it beaten. Physics, animation, textures, and even effects. The water physics took a bit of a hit in Infinite, but that's a minor gripe. As a game, Infinite is a major step forward for the series.

I swear I've seen this ad before...no, wait, yes I have seen this ad before. This is the EXACT same ad they put out there a few months ago to show off the interface.

Why are people so upset over this? It's not that surprising, especially given Australia's history of censoring/banning just about every violent video game in recent years. As for the rest, again I'm not too shocked. Kind of expected a game like this to be censored quite a bit. I have the North American version, and it's as visceral as you can get in a game.
