i usually like to wait for some reviews, but these games look awesome to me:

Alan Wake-360-

Assassins Creed 2- PS3/360/PC the first one was alright, but i think Ubisoft got yhr second one right this time.

Bioshock 2- PS3/360/PC loved the first one

God of War 3-PS3 looks awesome, and i love greek mythology

Modern Warfare 2 PS3/360/PC- COD4 was the first COD i bought, and i really enjoyed the MP, it took over my life at one point

MGS4 is the only one that comes to mind, although i enjoyed the MP for a good two weeks. After playing COD4's MP, it was hard for me to get into MGS4's MP

well it depends on your taste, although Xbox360 and the ps3 share many games, there are some key exclusives each hold that appeal to different people. Also, a ps3 is $399 unless you can find cheaper, which means you can only get the game that comes with it. The 360 on the other is $199, which leaves you enough money to buy many great games that have came out for it.

MGS4 is all epic for long time fans. Since 1987, the plot for the series continued to grow leaving many unanswered questions. MGS4 for some was to drawn out and not to memorable. For fans of the series, it was a satisfying end because after so many discussions and theories we finally got the answers we were looking for. For example, the microwave scene was memorable to me because I know the pains and sacrifices Snake made since the series began. People who chose MGS4 as their first MGS will not feel the same for some moments of MGS4 as long time fans. Another example, the final boss fight was memorable to me because i knew the long history behind it. MGS4 was pure fan service which is why some review sites gave it a lower score.

it doesnt matter, as long as good games are being released for the 360/ps3, i will continue to hold on to both. I spent to much on this generation to jump into the next one so soon. Besides both the ps3 and xbox360 are shooting for long lives.
