i played it when it first came out, beat it 100% and didnt touch till a couple of days ago. I'm having fun with it now, but i do agree it didnt deserve a 10. More like 8.5-9.5. I enjoyed san andreas more. Besides reviews are only opinions anyways, there about as valid as our opinions. The only difference is we dont get paid for our opinions.

[QUOTE="Animal-Mother"][QUOTE="liquidsnake1987"][QUOTE="Animal-Mother"] upcoming games? Alan wake and God of war 2010 is a long ways away. And the other 3 are still just about a half year away

should of said future games but you know what i mean, GOW3 is an established series so fans of it was know what to accept from it. As for Alan Wake, the whole atmosphere of the games is why i fell in love with it

DIdnt mean to come off as caddy, im waiting for them as well, super hyped for alan wake , and god of war. It's a good list, but still so far!

yeah i know, i remember waiting for MGS4 for 4 long years, it sucks but in the end it was everything i ever wanted. I also forgot to mention Splinter Cell Conviction, i own everyone one of the past ones, and stealth/action is my favorite genre

[QUOTE="xgamer40"][QUOTE="liquidsnake1987"][QUOTE="h575309"] fighting ocelot was cool but i wish they wouldve stuck with classic mgs gunplay instead of some random fighting mechanic thrown in at the end.

imo i dont think it would of been as memorable as the fist fight, there was a lot of history behind those punches which felt satisfying when i was pounding away at ocelot

It was much more memorable with the fist fight, it was mainly an ode to the first games final battle, the two brothers, fighting it out, on top of a metal Gear. The moment the fight started I immediately thought of the first game, it was a nostalgic experience, and one of my favorite parts of the game.

same here, the cutscene before the fight was also memorable, favorite part was when Snake shouted "LLLLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIQQQQUUUUIDDD" gave me goosebumps

[QUOTE="liquidsnake1987"]

i usually like to wait for some reviews, but these games look awesome to me:

Alan Wake-360-

Assassins Creed 2- PS3/360/PC the first one was alright, but i think Ubisoft got yhr second one right this time.

Bioshock 2- PS3/360/PC loved the first one

God of War 3-PS3 looks awesome, and i love greek mythology

Modern Warfare 2 PS3/360/PC- COD4 was the first COD i bought, and i really enjoyed the MP, it took over my life at one point

Animal-Mother

[QUOTE="liquidsnake1987"]MGS4 is all epic for long time fans. Since 1987, the plot for the series continued to grow leaving many unanswered questions. MGS4 for some was to drawn out and not to memorable. For fans of the series, it was a satisfying end because after so many discussions and theories we finally got the answers we were looking for. For example, the microwave scene was memorable to me because I know the pains and sacrifices Snake made since the series began. People who chose MGS4 as their first MGS will not feel the same for some moments of MGS4 as long time fans. Another example, the final boss fight was memorable to me because i knew the long history behind it. MGS4 was pure fan service which is why some review sites gave it a lower score. h575309
