Have you ever buy a game just for its single player?(excluding single player only games) For me, Halo 3 andGTA IVare awesome in single players, and even better than multiplayer.

I've never liked a multiplayer mode better than a single player mode. I don't play much multiplayer, though.
By that I mean online multi. I didn't think much of SSBBrawl's singleplayer.
metal gear solid 4 (i mean, stealth. of course it's a single player experience)
uncharted (this series is and will always be better in the single player. i love adventure games cause i get to go to different places and explore stuff XD platforming ftw)

I think most games are this way. I will say Crysis in particular.
Ditto. On both accounts
[QUOTE="clembo1990"]Crysis, Halo 3... MGS4 doesn't have a MP, it's MGO, apparently a seperate game ;)mitu123And it comes with MGS4, even though it's a seperate game, you need MGS4 to get to it, though I understand. They even put 6 different menus between MGS4 and MGO. It's like they wanted to distance it from the actual game as much as possible.... I wonder why....
Crysis was a classic/masterpeice on the singleplayer and a 10/10. But the online was not all that great (although it got ALOT better in Crysis Warhead).
Also The Darkness had a fantastic singleplayer, but the onlien was horrible. Overall a great game jsut because the singleplayer was very good, the online i just acted like it didnt come with the game :P
Also i agree with others abotu MGS4. I loved the singleplayer for it, but the online was pretty bad imo.

I have no idea why either, it shouldn't be included with MGS4, seems almost like a waste.
i never buy or rent a game based on the MP, single player is what makes me buy a game, I don't care if a game has MP or not
