@wtf_666: 3D died? I still use it for my PC games? I just wish they would release more 3D Blu Ray. Mad Max Fury Road was awesome in 3D on my 50 inch TV! 3D is also an integral part of VR. In fact..... VR with it's stereoscopic 3D and Kinect 2.0 would be a match made in heaven I think. Power glove on the other hand (see what I did there!!!) I'll leave!

So that will be about £750 in the UK if they have borrowed the calculator that Oculus borrowed from Microsoft to price the rift? I WAS really excited by VR and wanted to jump right in (expecting the rift to be in line pricewise with their dev kits and be compatible with my pretty powerful rig (neither hit the mark) ...... guess I'm going to have to wait a few years..... and build a new rig. Prob for the best..... I just hope it isn't dead and buried by then due to current high entry costs. This is not affordable for mainstream. VR lies in the hands of Sony as I see it.... Lets just hope their headset is affordable to the average punter.

I've actually never purchased DLC..... ever. If everyone stops buying it, they will release full games again..... Just thought you'd all like to know. Thanks

I'm a little older than Danny, at 33. Atari 2600, C64 and Spectrum we're my earliest memories... but not my fondest. The Amiga was where it was at. Lucasarts adventures, Zool, Lemmings, Shadow of the beast...... they rocked my boat and still do. I got new consoles throughout, right up until now....... but nothing feels the same as those old, lovingly developed games. Most of the games I look forward to now are kickstarter releases that hark back to the days gone by. At least there's something for everyone now, but I am getting increasingly bored of the AAA scene.

sooooo... why did it get a 7 on xbox one? What happened in the interim? is it a bad port (I wouldn't know as there's no mention of how well this game runs in comparison to the xbox one version, which is what I really wanted to glean from this review rather than the reviewers feelings towards sexist and mean-spirited overtones in games.

The frame rate can be unlocked rather easily from 30fps also... just google it.

@Kevin-V @miser_cz The most perfect games I ever played are so because of their slight imperfections..... Dragons Dogma, Shenmue, . They ooze so much character and fantastic game changing mechanics that you don't care for their misgivings. Every once in a while I play a game that I cannot stay myself from. Deus Ex: human revolution, Witcher, Final Fantasy 7...... this is one of those for me.... and it came from Kickstarter. Viva la Revolucion. Glad it was reviewed by Kevin too.... my favourite reviewer.

@Vodoo Sony's last HMD was not VR but is basically project Morpheus or Rift (they both do exactly the same thing), with included head tracking..... your post makes no sense? No offense but both Morpheus and Rift are basically the same idea and will give the same kind of experience as Sony's first HMD plus motion tracking.

So what? Vita used to use a AMOLED display. This is a good thing right and good signs of things to come with the consumer version right? or is this a VR bashing session for the people who don't want it?
