The beginning screens where the ship is flying around reminds me of Solar Jetman. That was a great old game, and this looks to be pretty interesting too.

IMO, there is little point about arguing which version is better. If you own a pc that can run a game on max ultra uber settings and play smoothly, of course you will play that over the PS3 or X1 or whatever, even if you have a next gen console. You will play it on whatever gives you the best experience out of the options you have available.

Yes, I had a ps3 and an xbox360 and a pc at the time Mass Effect 3 came out. Guess what, I played it on pc. If I didnt have a pc, id have played on one of the consoles. You pick the right weapon for the job.

I'm really starting to believe people don't WANT to like any Alien games. Every one in recent memory has been bashed for something or another.

If the game had been called "Strangness of Space" or some crap and had a generic non xenomorph alien threat, people wouldn't care about the "bland spots" between action sequences.

These survival type games are just complete trash. Nearly everyone who plays simply goes out to **** over every other player they come across. I get enough of that from society at large, I won't volunteer myself for a digital ass raping as well.

I recently finish AC Revelations and then 3, and now I'm playing both Liberation and Black flag, and I'm still loving all of it, but man, this one has me worried. Not because It seems bad or contrived, but at some point I have to stop playing and do RL stuff like mow the lawn, cut firewood, maybe go to work hehe.

Seriously however, the character's voice actor sounds like he has a cold, all stuffed up and whatnot, and the narrator was the dude from Honest Trailers on youtube right?

I'll get the game no doubt, but I won't preorder. And as much fun as the 18th century is/was, I'd like to get some wild west action or viking stuff at some point.

Billy the Kid, Abe Lincoln, Robin Hood there's way too much untapped stuff! Get to it. (I know there were no Norsemen in that list.)

I can't bring myself to play games with the block style of graphics. It just feels too juvenile for me.

Robocraft was the only game I could get into and its graphics are just a few notches above this stuff.
