Assassin's Creed: Rogue - Hunter Gameplay Trailer
The assassin's become the hunted in the latest gameplay trailer for Assassin's Creed: Rogue.
I ordered them both... this and unity. With Unity however i'm like: omg! awesome! with every screenshot, video, gameplay clip... it just feels... right.
With this i feel like i've done this before... like i've seen this before. I have my reservations with rogue.
I recently finish AC Revelations and then 3, and now I'm playing both Liberation and Black flag, and I'm still loving all of it, but man, this one has me worried. Not because It seems bad or contrived, but at some point I have to stop playing and do RL stuff like mow the lawn, cut firewood, maybe go to work hehe.
Seriously however, the character's voice actor sounds like he has a cold, all stuffed up and whatnot, and the narrator was the dude from Honest Trailers on youtube right?
I'll get the game no doubt, but I won't preorder. And as much fun as the 18th century is/was, I'd like to get some wild west action or viking stuff at some point.
Billy the Kid, Abe Lincoln, Robin Hood there's way too much untapped stuff! Get to it. (I know there were no Norsemen in that list.)
I'm sure it'll be fine, but I have little desire to go back and buy new games on last-gen consoles. While I am kind of doubting it'll make an appearance on current-gen consoles, if it goes to it, I might get it... I just don't like the idea of going back to buy new games on last-gen.
I wonder how The Ones Who Came Before are gonna fit into this game. I like those bits. The stuff with the observatory and The Sage in AC4 was cool.
Also: Shay is totally gonna kill Adewale.
@kithirris Vikings? Yeah perhaps the British Isles during the 9th century could be an interesting setting with British kings and the invasion of Danes. The Swedes going off into Russia (Rus may actually originate from Swedes meaning "the men who row") might be a harder sell.
Personally I think days of The Swedish Empire (1611-1721), starting with the coronation of Gustavus Adolphus and ending with the death of Carolus Rex (shrouded in much mystery and conspiracy theories), would be a very interesting setting. Lots of intrigue and wars in Europe.
@NTM23 Yeah. Especially since the last game came out on both generations and on PC meaning the game engine is already ported. =/
@amdreallyfast Probably duped by one of the founders of Abstergo. Or maybe the pay wasn't good enough. Templars might be evil bastards, but none of them are poor bastards.
@pgl163 If anything 4th game.
The third was about American independence war right?and the forth was about pirates,I saw same buildings and setting from the third,and no coconut palms so...
