6 is fair. It means the game is above average and won't be remembered fondly in the years to come like the original Arkham game. I would personally give it a 7. It's good, but it's too buggy and nothing has really changed. They decided that, after Arkham City, the best way to raise the stakes would be to set it it in a slightly bigger city.
@Nightmare338 @josh7845 What would be really nice is if they just did it Star Wars Battlefront style. Big open maps, plenty of vehicles to drive about in and a variety of choices in weaponry and classes.
Either drop the single player or design it in such a way that it shows off what the multiplayer experience can do. You are wasting resources otherwise, DICE. A linear snore-fest that favours spectacle over gameplay is not the reason people flock to this game series for.
After the disappointment that was AC3 and the slog that was ACRevyourengines, I was expecting this game to be quite shit. Now i'm thinking of picking it up if only to see if I can be proven wrong.
@ShepardCommandr Please note, Gamespot doesn't hire the one reviewer. They have several reviewers. Who have different opinions. Because they're different people.
The only Pokemon game I would touch these days are the ones with original stories like Colosseum or XD. I suppose it's because A) I don't care about the new Pokemon at all B) Even if I did, I wouldn't bother catching them all since it's impossible to do that thanks to the event Pokemon and C) Like most Nintendo games, you pretty much know what you're going to be doing before you've even started the game up. Bowser kidnaps princess, Mario must save her. Zelda's in trouble, Link goes to temples and finds the triforce thing. You choose the starter Pokemon after an hour of exposition that tells you nothing you didn't already know, you battle gyms, you beat the evil team, you beat the elite four and the champion and then you try to catch all the Pokemon and fail.
@abHS4L88 @josh7845 @JustArtificial Yeah the environments looked awesome. The character models were indeed what I was referring to. Especially the facial movement. Too uncanny.
