f*** if it wasn't for the 360 blowing up across the nation i could be playing gears right now lol. Ok 2 more questions::
The 3 yr warrenty should be free; is it free? OR do you actually have to pay extra. Ontop of the 400+tax for the 360, an extra lump of cash for 3 years of ensured replacement? Will they replace my 360 for any defect? Or is replacement strictly based on total hardware failure. What if some random guy like stepped on my 360 and messed it up externally, will the 3 yr warranty replace it? Or do i have to PAY for repairs?

The 3 year warrany ONLY covers the 3 light general hardware failure. Any other defects are covered under the regular warranty. It seems many people don't realize this and are suprised when they call Microsoft and it's $100 to get the console repaired.
Did I got screwed when I bought my 2500$ pc?
I don't think so.
There's always a price to pay to get stuff early

Glad to see someone who understands how the world works. It will take Sony some time to get consumers "trained" out of their entitlement thinking. Funny how it's only game consoles, but no other product suffers from this delusion. All electronics drop in price...except game consoles apparently. This must be the first time in history a console has dropped in price.
FPS's are just as a valid market as any other genre. There's like 10 out of 900 games that are FPS coming out this year. I wouldn't necessarily call that too many.
I haven't played a good FPS since Half-Life Episode One came out and maybe only one or two others before that in the last year and a half.
There's a lot of FPS fans out there including myself who think it's about time we get some good stuff.
Personally I believe it's the most immersive experience of any video game design, and I'm looking forward to nearly all of the big ones I saw at E3.
Boy you guys make up all kinds of conspiracy theories. Unfortunately they're all wrong.
Like dream431ca said, the reason Assassin's Creed had some bugs was because it was a totally last minute thing for Ubisoft. Microsoft couldn't get a playable demo of Halo at all, so they asked Ubisoft to step in like a week before E3. They certainly didn't have to, but I give them props for doing it anyway. It obviously hurt people's impression of the game though.
