This thread will become a "let's hate popular games" thread.IronBassI think it already has. So let me continue with that: Final Fantasy. All of them. Heck, JRPGs in general. They're just "dumbed down" versions of WRPGs. They took the role-playing out of RPGs. There is no real character interaction; you have no influence over the outcome of the story. Even the stats are simplified versions of WRPGs' stats. I think the Final Fantasy series is probably the most egregious example of the dumbing down of a genre. Play KOTOR or Fallout 2 or Neverwinter Nights and then play any JRPG and tell me which is the deeper, more true RPG experience. That being said, I still love a good JRPG (dumbing down isn't always a bad thing).

If you want, go here.
It's the Nintendo support site.
The stuff about games freezing is a the bottom of the page and there's some more links and stuff.
Hope this helped.
My Wii has never frozen. I've never actually heard of a Wii freezing until this thread.
Nintendo consoles are usually pretty darn reliable, so I'm going to say that it's pretty wierd.
(And, really? Hot Wheels is a demanding game?)
Truth of the Century! The_Brodeo has won the System Wars!PC's are for playing WOW nothing else.

Yeah that's what would have to happen for a Unified Console to work. And then it wouldn't be a console. It would be a PC that hooks up to your tv - something a lot of PCs can do anyway.[QUOTE="CwlHeddwyn"]
so the unified console would have to go down the PC route.

Just think...
The Microsoft Yablo.
I'm getting goosebumps.
EDIT:
I just realized!!!
Yablo spelled backwards is Olbay!
That's just another reason why Microsoft needs to make the Yablo!
Most FF games can be played on PS2 :?
Abicus7
It's true. I think you can play thirteen FF games on a PS2.
If I'm not mistaken, FFI - XII (minus III), FFX-2, and FFTactics can all be played on a PS2.
How is Halo Reach a spin off? cuz its not halo 3 or halo 4. it is spinning off the main series and using the name. Wait, wait, wait... wait. Let me get this straight. The original argument was that Final Fantasy XIII VS was NOT a spin-off like Halo Wars or Halo ODST. The reason those Halo games are spin-offs is because they do not follow Halo 3 in numerical succession - they're not calling Halo Reach "Halo 4". So... maybe I missed something in your explanation, but wouldn't that make Final Fantasy XIII VS a spin-off too?[QUOTE="Trmpt"][QUOTE="stylesPS3"] giving you examples of real spinoffs so you understand and hopefully wont make the same mistake of calling a game like Versus a spinoff, especially when devs themselves say this is a complete different game and what a Final Fantasy should be.stylesPS3
