I'm not the biggest fan of BF4, but DT is honestly the best DLC so far. The maps are great, the new game mode is super fun if you like only infantry, and new weapons are ridiculously fun to use (Deagle, Unica, Bulldog).
Hardline looks and feels like a cheap FPS game that's either F2P or cost $30. But no, it's a $60 cops n robbers theme for BF4. I hope Hardline fails tbh. Charging people full price for what is essentially BF4... but then again, CoD does it every year and sheaple buy it every year, so milking a franchise name seems to be the way to go ;)
BC 2 is the best BF on console ever made. I miss the maps, and Rush game mode. Rush was all I played. Now? lol... couldn't stand rush on BF3 and now this joke lolBF4.
I honestly hope they don't make another BC, because DICE will butcher that good memory from a great game. Look at what they're selling off as BF now...Hardline. That pos DLC they selling at full price. Not even considering buying that game, and I hope it flops, I really do.
DICE don't understand why people liked BC2 so much? Well that comes off as them saying they didn't make enough money off it. No premium to sell obviously.
It's a new IP. I won't say it looks bland or a waste of money. If people fell for the hype, then lol at them. 8 is a good score, and Kevin did a great job with this review, and in my books, he's one of the best if not the best in this industry.
People just like to complain. "OMG UBISOFT CHURNS OUT ANOTHER MEDIOCRE GAME! QQ"... then don't buy it. I haven't bought an Assassin's Creed since 2. To me the series is "meh", but other people like it. Watch Dogs looks decent to me, so I'll pick it up when I can.
@spacecadet25 meh... not to me. It looks great, but after 1 playthrough of a linear FPS campaign, the game is done. So to ME, it's not worth the $60 price tag. I would buy more SP games new if they were $40-45.
I'll wait till this goes F2P... and it will eventually. I'm guessing 6-8 months from now. From what I see, there's nothing there worth a monthly sub, other than the PvP. The PvE looks abysmal.
$60 for the game + $15 up front + $20 if you want to play as the super duper special race which includes a horse which is worth 41k gold. To put it into perspective, when you kill a skeleton, you get 1 gold, so yeeeeaaaa.
I love ES, but this looks like a cash grab using the name. Shame.
