Way too linear. Too much trial and error. Most of the cool parts were cut-scenes rather then gameplay. Very repetetive fighting w/ too few combos. Oh, and those God of War styled "hit this button in the middle of the cut scene or die" parts are really starting to piss me off, in any game.

Overlord is an enjoyable game that is a little similar to Fable...except your evil or very evil instead of good or evil, plus you control a small army of gremlin-like creatures.

Otherwise, wait for Fable 2 or Fallout 3.

Oblivion. I spent so many hours of fun on that game (about 100) and I loved it. Mass Effect was a close second though.trentman7

I feel the same way. Except I put in about 270 hrs into Oblivion (maxed out almost every stat on my character and did every single quest).

Just hook up your TV to a decent sub-woofer and put it under your seat. Problem solved. :P

Not only does it work with any PS3 game, but it works for anything that supports bluetooth. I use mine more with my cell phone when I'm driving then I do with the PS3.

A wired connection is just not an option for me. Even with a long cable, it would have to run across my room, through the hallway, and into the living room. There's just to much traffic in those areas in my house to have a cable going through them. I get about 80% connection with my PS3 from my router in the living room. Would I get this amount with the adapter? Cause if this adapter works consistently, I'm definately buying it. I love my PS3, but I can't get over some of its nagging faults. This is why I want a 360, so I can enjoy XBL. I can't believe I'm saying this. I've always had sort of a grudge against MS for no real reason. You could say I was a Sony fanboy in denial. That was until I used XBL at my friends house to play COD4. Man!!! What a difference!!!! Don't get me wrong, I love the PSN, but until Home comes out, I will be forced to consider it cumbersome compared to XBL. This is why I want a 360. And what good is owning one without online play?

Are you on the first floor? If so, then it's real easy to run a wire through your wall down to the basement, then across your basement ceiling (assuming it's not finished), and back up another wall cavity. I would definately do that instead of going wireless.

Either PGR is also good with the wheel.

I have the wheel as well, but I've found that I prefer the sticks if the game is super arcadey like Burnout or Need for Speed. Really I only use it for Forza.

IMO, Rock Band is way better.

My reasons...

1. It offers a wider range of gameplay by adding drums and vocal

2. It really is the ultimate party game. It's also one of the few titles that my anti-video game female friends really enjoy playing.

2. Some people say that Rockband is too easy, but GH3 had me in a position were playing on medium was no fun and hard got to be impossible by the sixth set. Even if you are a master on the guitar, Rockband will give you a challenge on the drums or vocals.

3. Want more songs? With GH you're gonna get barely any DLC and they are just gonna force you to buy the next sequel for more music. While the devs who made Rockband have been putting DLC up every week and they already said that you won't see Rockband 2 until PS4. Instead they will keep supporting Rockband with DLC and updates.

4. I'd rather support the original creators of the series, Harmonix, especially since I've been hooked on their games since Frequency.

Simple...

gameplay > graphics.

Although I do agree with the TC on certian points. It will be very difficult for me to go back to one of the PS2 GTA's after #4 comes out. But that is mostly because they offer similar gameplay with GTA4 having drastically improved graphics. Most of the PS2 games I still play on my PS3 are ones that had unique gameplay that hasn't been replicated yet on a newer title. For example, I still play my copies of Frequency and Amplitude all the time. I even have a Xenogears and FF7 save on my PS3 HDD.

No, but you can start a new game with the same character and keep all your experience and items.
