Conduit by definition is just a cover for electrical wires (the name implies they just thought up the first "cool word" that came to mind).

1. A pipe or channel for conveying fluids, such as water.
2. A tube or duct for enclosing electric wires or cable.
3. A means by which something is transmitted:an arms dealer who served as a conduit for intelligence data.
4. ArchaicA foundtain.
Conduit in terms of the third definition, would only work well if your whole game's purpose was the gathering of intelligence (and sharing that intelligence with others). As in if you were the SOURCE of information/arms and move the information/weapons from one to another (hence a conduit, vehicle). Using it in this fashion to describe an action game/shooter is just superficial.
The point of the name Conduit is not to show the game is about being a Conduit (arms/intelligence dealer). So Conduit is just a snazy name nothing more.
My point: the game is made by High Voltage Software...and what does it really matter. A game's name doesn't have to make sense.
Gosh! Why do people have to take my comments so literally...
