Honestly, The Conduit.
"blah blah blah generic blah blah blah"
More people will find the conduit fun than will find Madworld fun. Shooters are the in thing right now.

honestly neither one interest me
on madworld its main focus is violence and that kinda just ruins it for me dont get me wrong i dont mind a lot of violence but when that is the main focus then i bugs me
and for the conduit it just looks generic and while if you only own the wii well then the conduit is going to be awesome but when i own a ps3 and can get such great fps as kz2 and r2 then why should i get a generic average fps on my wii
Both.
Why **** choose? They both look great. They're completely different. I've pre-ordered both. Do yourself a favour and pick both up.
The Conduit... I've been following the news on Madworld, reading the reviews, but I just don't find the game really interesting.alphamale1989Same.
The conduit, because while it may look generic, I still think it's good fun to shoot some aliens. Also because the wii controls are really compatible with fps.

Yeah theres nothing generic about shooting random aliens who pissed you off, theres nothing like that in KZ2 or R2. Also the main focus of Madworld is sattire, personally MW mostly has had my focus because its a classic beat em up and I love comedy in games, but I am also interested in the Conduit, its look a fun shooter.[QUOTE="BoxingTheStars"][QUOTE="Dingerious"]

Madworld by a longshot. Its stylized, original, and looks like a good game. While the conduit is generic, ugly and looks like a mediocre shooterWaffle_Fish
Ugly!? have you seenthe Conduiti think it looks fantastic graphics wise.
the conduit doesn't really look that great since i'm used to PC fps games (which is where they should always stay), madworld is highly stylized, and a totally different spin on the beat em up genre. It's GOTY until something else comes along...which doesn't say much but still. Conduit aliens look awful, but I respect them for what they're trying to do and the effort they are putting into it so it will definitely be a candidate. It will sorely suffer from a lack of originality though.
I choose C) Punch Out.Mike1978SmithThis. And Madworld over Conduit. I'm not even sure if I'll get Conduit...
Madworld because it describes the game to a T. I mean look; you Crush other people, its like 300 all over again except theres only one of you and its modern day.
Conduit by definition is just a cover for electrical wires (the name implies they just thought up the first "cool word" that came to mind). So by rights in Conduit you should be like an electrician or something. I mean you'd have to be a sellout to like this game over Madworld...
Well I suppose both games are published by Sega so I can't complain.
I prefer The Conduit any day over Madworld. The Conduit will be much longer than Madworld and has something very important: REPLAYABILITY and LONGEVITY. The Conduit will have online multiplayer(basic modes and some yet to be announced)and Wii Speak, let along a decent single player mode (actually longer than Madworld's single player). The Conduit will keep me busy much longer than Madworld which is only 5-6 hrs long.
Oh yeah, don't say playing on different levels of difficulty helps replayability as just about every game has difficulty settings--including The Conduit. (I feel so bad badgering Madworld like that, but the TC had to ask.)
However, I really like what both games bring to the table. I am picking up Madworld later today, and in June(?) I'm definitely getting The Conduit. Keep the good games coming please!
In terms of both GS scores and personal expectations, neither. I personally expect them to be very good, but maybe not quite AAA standard. Little King's Story, however, I think will probably deserve AAA, but who knows what GS would score that game....probably a 7.5.
I'll probably buy all three anyway, although I'll have to wait for more impressions of The Conduit.

1. A pipe or channel for conveying fluids, such as water.
2. A tube or duct for enclosing electric wires or cable.
3. A means by which something is transmitted:an arms dealer who served as a conduit for intelligence data.
4. ArchaicA foundtain.
MadwWorld looks pretty stupid to me because the whole game is mainly about how much blood and violence you can put on the screen and that does not interest me too much. I think The Conduit looks like it will be far better than MadWorld... The Conduit is a game focused for mature players without putting unneeded gore into the game.NormanOfTorn
AMEN
BTW for all of you that the conduit is genric, in that case every game is.
The idea for every game came from somthing else whether another game, a movie, etc. Even Madworld

Conduit in terms of the third definition, would only work well if your whole game's purpose was the gathering of intelligence (and sharing that intelligence with others). As in if you were the SOURCE of information/arms and move the information/weapons from one to another (hence a conduit, vehicle). Using it in this fashion to describe an action game/shooter is just superficial.
The point of the name Conduit is not to show the game is about being a Conduit (arms/intelligence dealer). So Conduit is just a snazy name nothing more.
My point: the game is made by High Voltage Software...and what does it really matter. A game's name doesn't have to make sense.
Gosh! Why do people have to take my comments so literally...

its not were the game came from that makes it generic but how the developers play the game out

Yeah, it could be that.
Or it could be, you know...a reference to all the portals popping up around the city that transport enemies from one spot to another. For future reference, the gathering intelligence sentence was an example use of the word; the definition is before that.
