You make a good point. I thought it would be cool but to be honest all it really was, was a bunch of hype. It has potential though. For now it seems to be a Second Life clone whose purpose is a glorified messager. I think Sony should spend more time on adding more avatars or atleast letting us make our own. And maybe they should make an in game messager (for while we're actually playing games). After all the hype and the letdowns of the delays, do you even use Home? Was it worth it?
For me...I never use it. Used it a little when it came out and maybe twice since then.
What about you? Did Sony make a bad decision with Home? Was it worth the wait? If not, when do you think it will be a solid application?

Its because he thinks that gaming is somehow bad for him. He believes his time is better spent doing something else. Or maybe he has no life satisfaction. I don't quite understand either. Hes either: A) trolling B) having a midlife crisis C) has little life satisfaction or D) is deeply religious I'm sure he'll come around, everyone does.Giving up gaming to me is like giving up reading books. Why throw away a hobby? So you can buy some shoes that will wear out in time? Reading or experiencing a good story will stay with you forever.

[QUOTE="dkhw"]I know that it doesn't have a split screen for single player, but does the game feature split screen for local and online multiplayer?Timmeus
I think there might be split screen for local multiplayer because they did mention you could play with bots but I'm not sure, the first Killzone had split screen multiplayer with bots.
Unreal Tournament 3 for PS3 had bots and no split screen!?@# I really really really want Killzone 2 to have split screen multiplayer. If it does I would buy Killzone 2 when it comes out. Else I wait for the price to drop. Local Multiplayer (with friends) >>>(is much better than)>>> Online Multiplayer (with laggy gameplay)[QUOTE="Nocturnal_Speed"]I still dont understand how Square Enix has a few exclusives only for the 360. I still think the majority of peeps that love RPG's are Sony fans, but thats just me; myself included. All my friends who own a 360 (about 8) don't care much for RpG's.... I think it's pretty funny.ThetaguruUmm..Level 5 makes WKC, not Square Enix. IMO Level 5 games are awesome
Level 5 > Square Enix?
It still happens though, hyped games often get inflated scores.Memberino

[QUOTE="aspro73"]Could not a well-hyped game also be a good game? Having a well run and funded marketing department does not preclude having a solid development group.MemberinoLook at GTAIV's 10 score on gamespot, another example. And FFXII did not kick ass, it has no story and no character development. Hardly more deserving of a 40 score than FFVII/VIII/IX
IMO all the Final Fantasy games thus far that I have played have had very many redeeming qualities. If you're looking for a good JRPG play a Final Fantasy game. If you're looking for a good story then read a book. If you don't like reading, you can find audio books for many good stories.
Final Fantasy XII wasn't a bad game. It was actually pretty good.

I played the game:
>the battle system was good
>the characters were decent (I liked them better than FFX)
>The Story was good, although the ending was a little confusing.
