After watching numerous conferences, interviews and whatnot, its clear that Nintendo's strategy is to attract gamers with Exclusives such as Donkey Kong, Mario with Multiplayer, X, Bayonetta 2 and Wii U Party, but with such exclusives such as Rayman and Deas Ex now moving away to other platforms due to demand, it seems hard for Nintendo to be trusted, when they can't really trust their on 3rd party developers. I believe they'll win us back next year at E3 with Metroid and Zelda
@dark_jedi79 @FULGOREY2K I think all he is inhaling is legislation that is DRM in gaming, whiles its good for the system, its seems just morally wrong for the users, a trade system like Steam would be most welcome with this services, because at least then you can have the illusion of choice in the matter.
Its hard to judge a console from its beginnings, if I recall correctly the PS3 launch was a disaster, here in Aus we had to wait 7 months I believe just to recieve the damn thing, which was worth 1000.00 RRP, which makes it to this day, the most expensive home console released.
@WingChopMasta @forever_blank They are not claims. Ubisoft indeed said they wanted make Sony Playstation and Microsoft Xbox 360 fans happy.
Nintendo did not let there fans down. 3 million units in 4 months is still acceptable considering the market they are entering is filled with Tablets, Phones, Consoles and PC's now a days. My claims may be whiny, but they are justified.
A seven month delay for a game due in February is completely unacceptable. Its just ridiculous that developers like Ubisoft and Gearbox are willing to release games on other systems before Wii U, but if its the other way around, the other consoles have to have simultaneous releases.
I find this just pathetic, Ubisoft one of Nintendo's biggest supporters, has really let Nintendo and its fans down, not only taking its exclusivity away citing the reason as "Playstation and Microsoft fans are upset" Well gee that the point of an exclusive and delaying by months to "coicide" with the other console's release date, is utterly pathetic.
It seems developers have no problem pushing back the Wii U versions of games, but don't give it the same treatment when reversed.
2K has said if Bioshock does come to Wii U, we will be developing it after the other versions Gearbox has delayed the Wii U version of Aliens, to add extra features
But you don't see Bioshock or Aliens being delayed for the Wii U
Diablo 3 - One of those games I gave up on, after being disconnected numerous times. When actually playing the game, I found it to be a stab in the face from Blizzard. 10 years we waited for this title... what a let down.
