Yeah you should be able to. I live in Australia and bought an American version of Assassin's Creed and works like a charm.

PS3 games are region free, but Blu-Ray movies, DVDs and PS2 and PS1 games are region locked.

yes ut3 works i brought a canadian version and got it yesterday works fine and online too :) no waiting more months for me lol

already own UT3, although i haven't played it much, been way too into COD4 still. that game is like cancer, once you get it, its pretty dang tough to get out :Pamericahellyeah

well preordered mine from video game plus (canada gamestore)on the 10th and it arrived on the 18th i live in england its a fantastic game with all the old magic of the older ones and only missing a few things some maps we all loved from ut like for me face was my fav ctf map of all time so simple but mods wil put it in at a later date. the graphics are great only a tiny bit of lag on the high ping servers but its the same for every game online. you will like the new link gun and minigun hybrid

I just went to buy UT3 thinking I'd be one of the first to play, low and behold the stupid guy doesn't put in the disk and now I have to go back, wasting another hour of play, why this day?? :|AlphaRail

same kind of thing happened to me went to hmv to buy a game when it came out. the guy went into the back got the "disc" and i left happily till i got on the train home opened it and realised instead of getting my ps2 game i got the xbox 360 version lol marketing at its finest shame the game wasn't very good so the game wassame price when i returned it the guy asked me did you go to block busters rent it out and change the disc's not sure if he was joking though

but for what reason? im not going to be threatened by konami into buying the game on day 1. they are pretty much telling us ps3 owners if we dont buy it on day 1 it wont be exclusive.

lol was going to put what kind of a metal gear fan wouldnt buy this on day one to find out what happens to be honest i think this is one of the games you will have to pre order hard to come by would also mark my first pre order in style :). i thinkthe fanbasewill grow to atleast another 500,000 new ps3 users waiting for the special mgs4 rumble deal going to be awesome
