the ps3 is a tough console, but i doubt it would survive a lot harsher punishments (falling out of 2 or 3 storey window or being thrown into a burning car, for example)

Plus wow, my ps2 has suffered many falls, but still works, but my ps3 is on the bottom shelf under my tv. How did you manage tomake it fall, the controllers are wireless, so its not that, and its pretty heavy. or did you pick it up mid game?

Idropped mines early this year and it still works fine.

PS: Mines was on top of my entertainment system and I tripped over the ethernet cord and I thought it was all over when it dropped.

I guess so, but the charging cable is not that long, you can't play while charging you would be quite close to the screen.

Mine fell from about only 2, to 1 and a 1/2 feet. And it woks fine still. I have to say the Wii and PS3 are built pretty good. And well yea those 2 are built good :P

And yea my PS2 has fallen alot. Main reason was it was on a vary high unstable stand for a while. But it made it threw, the thin version at least. My friends in Baltimore/Now SC again, have my First PS2.
