I for one am excited. This game was never about the graphics, but a good strong system. If they return with a more refined system and took care of the troublesome parts that were present in the first game (most of them have all been mentioned or alluded to) it will be all good for me.

Being alive can be deadly! Yesterday I was in the darkroot forest. I was invaded by 3 phantoms one after another. I beat them all, but used almost all my estus flasks, then 2 more invaded simultaneously and destroyed me. It was almost annoying that they kept coming and coming. I seem to have trouble summoning phantoms to help me, but when I'm alive, I get invaded over and over. thecreechxxx
Two reasons you are getting invaded 1. Darkroot is a pvp hotspot 2. Members of the Forest covenant must stop all trespassers into the forest so they get summoned to your world to stop you from trespassing. Furthermore if you have commited sins players who are in the Darkmoon covenant will invade your world without you knowing giving them the element of surprise. The more sins you have committed the more likely you will be invaded. When I learned about this I was impressed at how innovative it is. For people asking about the Estus Flask you get one when someone kindles the bonfire that you are using.

Readin these threads makes me smile because it reminds me of the 90s early 2000s when their was no hand holding. Such a rarity to see that in games these days.

Also the mute lady talks as well after you bring her back to life giving you interesting dialouge.

I was going to preorder it until I learned this morning that the it has only 15 hours worth of game time. That's really piss poor, so I have decided the game is not going to be worth $60. I might pick it up after it hits the bins and after all the good games come out this fall.

Getting it I always dig post-apocalyptic settings and this one is done by one of the best.

Gonna have a huge initial subscriber base but will drop dramatically within 6 months and bleed from there on out until it goes free to play. The game doesn't really offer anything unique that will attain subscribers and the vocalized everything is just a gimmick that will fail.

Yes gone are the days spent playing nothing but ye old xbox. I havn't touched the damn thing in months. Still use my PS3 for netflix and they seem to be cranking out more interesting titles for my blood anyways.

More time in the menus means less immersion so its good that its gone although they could've kept it and changed it so it isn't demanding the player to open up their armorer window just to keep their weapons at 100%. I remember in oblivon having to hotkey my smith hammer since i used it at every fight in order to keep my weapons at 125% to max damage while playing under a mod that sent many enemies at you at once to keep you challenged.
