Nah they should buy up someone better imo, something on the console side :P, Crysis and Far Cry are not worth it.

since Intel bought the developer, a lot of people thought that the game was PC exclusive again...and yet their were still those that didnt believe it.

they dont directly say "its a PC exclusive" but they pretty much say directly that the game is not gonna be on consoles.

Right--I said that above, that America's Army was one of those exceptions.

At this time, you should not expect to see many exceptions to our policy to stick to commercially sold games. Our reviews staff is very small, and we can currently not keep pace with retail games, let alone freely downloadable games.

okay, well I know I am probably getting kind of annoying...but bear with me.

You guys did do 2 hands on previews of Battlefield Heroes, so is this one of the "significant games"

Thats the point, there won't be the problem of system specs because it will be available on the PS3 and 360...the only people who will still have a problem are those that only have a PC. mrcong

if the PS3 and 360 can run the game fine...than any modest Gaming PC will have no problem with it at all.

an a High end one will have much better graphics than the console version.

If they don't want to move foward then there going to be in a position within the next couple of years where they will have to scramble to get the hang of Blu-Ray or just get out of gaming development. Blu-Ray will be the standard in a couple of years for PS3 and PC's (there already releasing the Blu-Ray drive for PC).jimm895

no it wont....Blue Ray wont be needed for PC games for many years...probably at least 5.

this is the same video that was shown a few months ago...but this is a direct, and much higher quality version.

and the graphics....are really really good...atmosphere is top notch to...but the lighting is the best I have ever seen, hands down.

Well, I guess you could always go with Unreal Tournament III, though you'd have to buy two versions of the game to run your maps on a console (PC -> PS3)...aznan

I though this would be an intresting topic...since I think we can all assume that its coming eventually....anyway...I want....

• better Browser...they should look at mass gate (from World In Conflict) as an example of what they should achieve.
• More vehicals...BF games always have a lot...but I think DICE should look at Desert Combat (mod for BF1942) for insperation....there were a lot of vehicals their...and many of them were just cool...like a hellicopter that serves as a mobile spawn point.
• More Customazation / Upgrades.
• Better map variety....a Plane focused sea map would be cool (like Coral sea) I would also like to see a jungle heavy map.
• More Commander abilities...they should expand on the commander abilities....more offensive ones...and also some defensive ones...like he should be able to construct defensive structures like bunkers and watch towers.
• More Squad / Squad leader abilities....it would be nice if the squad leader had some special abilities to use.
• More destruction....BF3 will most likely support destructable enviroments since they made a big note of pointing out that the enigne supports it.
• Slightly more realism....not like PR or OPF...but a little stronger weapons would be nice to have (especially the sniper)
• Terrain Deformation...unfortunatly..current hardware is probably not strong enough...but I woud be very gratefull it it was included.
• Better sound...The BF games never had a problem with this...but I woould like to see more immersive sound in the future....luckily bad Company has nice sound, so I think we are in luck.
• A few more things...but thoe are the major ones.

Console games dont have good map editors...all of them are really basic.

all the powerfull map editors are gonna be on the PC.
