Personally, I have no problem. By the time I get around to the game, I will have forgotten what I read. Yah, I'm that forgetful about some things ;)

Well, I'm the exact opposite. Give me short games 10 or so hours, that are excellent, edge-of-your-seat affairs.

With all the games coming out, I don't have enough time to sit down and play all that I want. I don't mind paying $60 for a 10 hour game. $6 per hour of gaming is not a bad deal at all.

Throw in multiplayer that will have me coming back for more, and it's a real bargain for me. With my limited time to play, I don't want to deal with filler material.

Monopoly using the real rules would work. Then the game would be a heck of a lot quicker than games that use a lot of the made up rules out there.

Scrabble would be okay too, never been a huge fan of it, though.

[QUOTE="RazorGR"]PC gaming probably isn't for you. Try a console.Skeptomania

Doesn't seem ike it anymore. I miss the good ole days when I could buy a game, install it and just play it!

You obviously don't remember the "good old days" like I do...Ultima 7 anyone? Autoexec.bat/Config.sys? EMManager? Loadhi, etc... ;) Perhaps I'm so old that I'm older than the "old days"?

PC gaming has always had its difficulties due to the insane amount of variation from one computer to the next.

Have you tried re-installing your OS lately? Uninstall and reinstall all your drivers, etc...

ps...you can't say that STALKER being boring is a technical issue :p

Just play Terrorist Hunt and get used to the controls.

Or play the first mission in single player. It takes place in Mexico and the graphics/locations are kind of dusty and brown so you will not miss much in the way of "flashy graphics".

I haven't played the demo, but jaggies will exist with the current gen of consoles. I know that the 360 uses something between 2x-4x AA and I'd assume the PS3 does the same. To truly get rid of the "jaggies", you need to start looking into the 16x and up range, not something other than a high-end pc would be able to even begin to do.

Still too early to tell. Still too many exclusives to both formats. Just because Blockbuster stopped carrying it in B&M stores doesn't affect their online rentals of HDDVD's or their competitors.

I chose the easy route and got both players ;)

Though, my PS3 might win it for me, because it let's me do 1080p over HDMI whereas I'd have to try and find a 360 Elite to let me have that capability for my HDDVD addon (though 720p is still pretty nice looking too).
