@Suaron_x If you care about gameplay, why is your Wii "collecting dust"? It has dozens of great games for it, often exclusive to the console.

Nintendo have proved in the past they know more than the doubters. The sales of the Wii are testament to that.

I personally cannot wait for the Wii U. Nintendo have earned my support with the great games on the Wii and DS.

@saltbalsak Trials was a refined concept before Trials HD, and RedLynx are much larger than Polytron. I think you drastically underestimate how much of an accomplishment it is for a tiny team to release a game like Fez, with a few bugs or not...

Perhaps numerical scoring is the crux of the issue? It dismisses the highs and lows in an instant, and reduces a game to a single value of worth. If reviewers simply provided a written review properly discussing the merits and issues (from their own particular perspective), there would be no summary to cause contention.
