I'd agree with this. I own the Yoshi's Island GBA port, and some of the original sounds from the SNES version aren't reproduced properly.I don't know how good it can potentially be (as in specs); but when comparing GBA ports to their SNES counterparts, I've always felt the SNES versions have better music. But at the same time, the GBA ports often have added sound-effects that the SNES version doesn't have. But since the music is more important to me, personally, I'd say I enjoy the sound on the SNES more.

Realistically anyone who hasn't had the money to upgrade to a HDTV won't be buying an expensive new games console. What are the people that don't have HDTVs going to use? HDTVs are not cheap.

I loved the Kirby Wii games, but I only care about a couple of the older titles so probably not.
I've pretty much finished collecting for the Wii. I have about 35 games I'd guess. The only title I still would like to buy is The Last Story, and I'm hoping it comes down in price at some point.
Have you played Uncharted in comparison to last gen shooters? But any way, I think he means "potentially better"Black_Knight_00
Are you joking? Uncharted is one of the best examples of graphics over gameplay. The game uses quick time events! There was nothing revolutionary or challenging to implement in the game, it was just very polished and cinematic.
Well it's not long to wait for the next generation, the Wii U is out before Christmas.
More powerful hardware = better/new gameplay.

And when has that proved true this generation? The PS3 and Xbox 360 haven't had more complex and refined games, they've just had prettier graphics. If anything, the massive amounts of effort needed to satisfy the demand for photorealistic HD graphics take away time that could be spent making better games.
There hasn't been any game I can think of on the PS3/360 where the gameplay wouldn't have been possible to implement on the Wii.
