I've been working on this build for a while. I'm using freeze pulse (primary spell cast) w/ support : add lightning dmg, life leech, mana leech, greater multiple projectiles, and faster casting.
I also use discharge and enduring cry w/ curse on hit and added burning dmg.
Once I got into this game I never got out. I've been playing ever since the closed beta started.
What's funny is that I started with a Witch like you did, but then realized that the Witch is only a viable build if you're going for cold crit (super risky if hardcore) or a summoner build. You should try a Templar or Marauder build. Don't think you are limited to melee or spell casting when you create a character. Think about where they start on the passive skill tree and build your skills according to a set plan.
You probably don't have the time to invest like I have in this game, but try to get a character up to, say, lv 70 and you will be extremely happy w/ yourself.
Whoever had the six link full white socket chest piece at that EXTREMELY early level got really lucky! I've never had that drop and I've played well over 1000 hours of the game. This was, of course, over a long period of time while the game was in alpha, then closed beta, then open beta, then released.
It's becoming more difficult day by day by day to wade through all of the PR bullshit that Microsoft is dishing after their ridiculous press conference.
@Mayleene Apparently lots of people care since there are 260 comments on this article and Nvidia has spent countless hours and copious amounts of money developing this technology. I think there probably are people out there who don't care about this, and maybe they outnumber the people who do care. Just because you don't care about it doesn't mean you should shoot your mouth off in a comments section where your opinion has nothing constructive to add.
The monster named Adam Lanza was an avid player of Dance Dance Revolution and StarCraft. These aren't exactly the poster children for excessive violence in video games. Maybe if these politicians got their heads out of the sand they'd realize they know little to nothing about the things they condemn and scapegoat as causes for this anomalistic tragedy.
Sometimes bad things, terrible, unspeakable things happen. Sometimes there isn't anything we can do about it. I wish we could prevent every car accident that results in permanent injury or death. To do this; however, we would have to outlaw the use of cars. I'd also love to keep people from dying of drug overdoses and alcohol poisoning, but in order to do this we would have to create a surveillance system that could watch every move of every citizen in the US.
I would love to eradicate all of the terrible things that happen every day to so many innocent people. The fact of the matter is that I can't. Scapegoating isn't going to get us anywhere. The best thing we can do is hold each other accountable for one another's actions, and try our best to bring up our children in the absolute best way we can.
