@the_big_doggg Xbox fanboys say GS favors Sony, Sony fanboys say the opposite....I think everyone needs to just calm down and think rationally. This site is quite impartial overall I think.
I actually liked the Xbox 360 even though I never owned one. I got the PS3 solely because I like Sony's exclusives and first party devs (especially Naughty Dog). If I do get the PS4 it'll be because of the same reasons. If I had enough money I would consider buying the Wii U but yea...
@DoodaPooda I personally don't see the point of having cable tv via xbox when I'm already paying for a cable. I didn't hate the idea, I just thought it was useless. As for exclusives, MGS5 and PVZ aren't even exclusives. Neither is titanfall from the rumors I've heard. That just leaves halo and forza, both exclusives I can live without. I'm a huge Naughty Dog fan anyways so if I do buy a next gen console it's gonna be the ps4.
@soaduk @Mendax2013 @peeessfore Sega killed itself when they released the Saturn. Yes it was an awesome console and I love Sega (bought a Megadrive and Saturn recently in fact), but it just couldn't compete with Sony. Same thing seems to be happening now with MS.
@rasterror I actually liked some of the games showed at the MS conference and I have never owned an MS console. The highlight for the Sony conference was mainly the price and the lack of DRM. The new IP The Order 1886 did however pique my interest as I am a huge Steampunk fan. Other than that they didn't really show any brand new IP which was what I was looking forward too. I don't count Knack cause they already showed that off at the original reveal. The main thing that had me sold for the PS4 was the lack of DRM and price, I'm still hoping for more new IP reveals as they said that they're coming out with 12. Regardless I'm probably not getting any new console at release.
