I haven't played this game but I think 8.0 is rather low for a game when the only real complaint seems to be that certain things 'break' the immersion of the game. It seems like a silly excuse to give a game a low score. There are many instances in loads of games where glitches or inconsistencies may 'break' the immersion but I've seen GS score them higher. Regardless, everyone's entitled to their own opinions, but I don't agree with this review at all.
I'm not really a Nintendo fan but that's a really ignorant comment. If it weren't for Nintendo pulling the industry out of the Video Game Crash, God knows where we would be right now. Even the PS wouldn't exist if it weren't for Nintendo screwing Sony over on a business deal..
I don't understand what the deal with backwards compatibility is honestly. Most gaming consoles that have been released haven't even had built in backwards compatibility, so I find it strange that people complain about it nowadays. If you really want to play your old games, just keep the old console.
Just finished it a few months ago, took me a couple of weeks. Definitely a really fun and challenging game! It becomes easier though when you reach a high enough level and have a lot of powerful items. I just farmed XP off the Deathclaws in the L.A. Boneyard though so that made leveling in the later stages much easier :P
I still have the original 60 GB PS3 in near perfect condition. One of my fondest memories is probably playing Oblivion for the first time after picking it up on a whim. Still one of the best games I've played on the PS3 and to think the only reason I bought it was that it looked interesting in a magazine ad lol.
