no.. no it is NOT impossible to make an rpg without aknowledging skyrim, it's pretty simple too go without ripping it off actually try making a game.. oh.. i don't know.. like the FIRST DRAGON AGE.
Legos were my favorite toy as a child, but I still find craft boring as hell x.x. Note that I'm not saying it's a bad game (in fact I think it's highly creative and I'm surprised it took a company this long to make a building game like this) but I personally find it boring. If I want to build with legos... I will go build with legos... If I want bad combat there are hundreds of games I can play, and If I want to farm constantly for random bullcrap I'll put in any number of RPGs, especially MMOs.
@Supabul @Rsoub It looks more like Raiden, but I think Raiden is younger than that... I could be wrong though. My first thought about Sir Char Face was Volgin as well.

Thanks for that, gameplay is the only thing I'm really interested in seeing (everything else is just teasing b.s. after all, we've seen how Kojima's trailers can have nothing to do with the game and be intentionally misleading *cough metal gear solid 2 cough*
@MJ12-Conspiracy I'm not sure where you're getting the idea that the kid in the Cage is Solid Snake.... but it's an interesting theory I guess... even if it doesn't make much sense.
Well... I have to say I like the concept so far, it seems like it takes place right after Peace Walker and that was my favorite game in the series, but I don't like the rumors I'm hearing about them making the game an 'open world' game. That was one of the biggest complaints from most people about MGS4, that you weren't confined to one place and you didn't really feel like a lone soldier struggling to get through by any means necessary, so now they are going to make the game even MORE open? It's hard not to be skeptical of such changes seeing how game developers have been screwing us over a lot lately, but on the other hand, this is Kojima we're talking about, and he hasn't steered us wrong yet. I'm glad to be playing as Naked Snake again though, I don't care what anyone says, he is a far more interesting and well developed character than Solid Snake. Really you know close to nothing about Solid Snake besides well... a couple plot twists that I probably shouldn't mention, while with Naked Snake you actually get to see how he feels and acts, you get to see how he makes a good leader, you get to see what life changing events made him who he is. I can't wait to play a game as him (and maybe in the future a game where you play as the Original Boss).
Final Fantasy XIII IS the exact same thing though, just done very poorly. The characters and story are a direct rip off of Final Fantasy VII mixed with FFXII. Only they took away more control in every aspect and bloated it with long corridors. And lightning is not a good female protagonist... she's a female Cloud... that's litarlly the extent of her character. The best female protagonist in gaming (or at least in this series) was Celes, Lightning doesn't even come close.
