Descend into Madness with Minecraft and Far Cry 3
We take a look at Ubisoft's official mod for Minecraft, Far Cry 3
Have you guys checked their webseries ?
I think i may bang my head against a wall while watching this. Kinda like watching Carolyn trying to play NFS Most Wanted.Ug.
If I have to watch that fuckin ASUS add one more time, WHO THE FUCK RECORDS A GUITAR RIFF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET?!
My first time playing Minecraft there was this epic and whimsical sense of 'OMGWTF is that?!' with exploring and sheltering, but that sense faded quickly. I love the idea of day/night survival cycle and crafting, but this ran dry for me long ago; was great while it lasted! I hope to see Fortnite done rite.
Yikes, this is Gamespot?
I don't wish to be mean but with this aimless playing, and lack of game knowledge, it would have been better not to air this video at all. I couldn't finish watching, even though I was very interested in this mod.
That said, great work Ubisoft, I love what they did with Minecraft, this looks like fun.
For the naysayers, this game is a sandbox of endless Lego building of epic proportions. No Lego experience, likely equals zero game interest. Nothing wrong with that.
Why do people always stare at the screen for 1-2 minutes babbling about nonsense before anything actually happens?
Yikes, first the GTA anniversary and now this? Please stop having Tyler Winegarner play games in your videos if he doesn't know much about the game or how it works. This is difficult to watch and makes me want to yell at the screen.
Ok gamespot, next time please put someone behind the keyboard who atleast has some experience with Minecraft, which he obviously has little. And the reason why you guys don't encounter any enemies or persons is because you've probably putted the difficulty on "Peaceful" in the settings.
This video is so weird. It's like great commentators with a good support by a semi-rich comapny decided to make a crappy minecraft lets play.
LOL at 4:50 I was like wtf is that?? ''I think its an abandonned car'' ahhhh cause its supposed to look like a car? srsly this games a joke
@gamergath It already has :)
@rhymesmatter It's the simplicity of it that makes it fun to me; Minecraft is an excellent time killer.
@Kcoshiob This video was extremely boring. I gave it five minutes, and then I couldn't handle any more.
@Jasper_73 probably not.... but 4j could surprise us with texture mods one day
@Phoenix-Ho-YokuBecause they were born in a box Phoenix.
@Phoenix-Ho-Yoku How can people question other people's tastes?
Hey moron, if they were playing on "Peaceful", why were there zombies and enderman? Some people are just so stupid...
@dalua360 That's because they cant adjust for better games with better graphics,Its not their faults they where just born that way lol.
Then you will never discover a great PC game.
@dalua360 Maybe you should try playing it and see why!
@dalua360 You clearly never played with legos as a child...
@GamerOuTLaWz you kno for a "joke" its made something like 600+ million in sales... im sure mojang is laugh with you all the way to the bank to cash his check... LOL
Hey idiot, maybe next time be a little more polite. And they obviously had no clue what they were doing, you should've noticed that. They did no research into Minecraft and they did no research on the mod. These are subpar quality video's, which don't belong on a big gaming site like Gamespot. And about the difficulty setting, well I have watched a fair amount of this video but it became boring quickly, so the enemies might have popped up later in the vid, my bad.
Legos were my favorite toy as a child, but I still find craft boring as hell x.x. Note that I'm not saying it's a bad game (in fact I think it's highly creative and I'm surprised it took a company this long to make a building game like this) but I personally find it boring. If I want to build with legos... I will go build with legos... If I want bad combat there are hundreds of games I can play, and If I want to farm constantly for random bullcrap I'll put in any number of RPGs, especially MMOs.
I did a lot actually, and that's exactly why I still have my opinion, because now I'm 30 and if I want to build stuff and use my creativity, I wouldn't do that with a video game, I can disassemble my car's engine, or play with my son and his "real" LEGO ( just examples)! It's like when you have this friend that lives two blocks away from your street and you keep chatting with him on Facebook or text messages, why not going there? I like to use technology to surpass what reality can't give me, I don't like going back with nostalgic virtual stuff, I have the real life for that!
