Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes - PAX Prime 2012 Trailer
Snake is back in this trailer for Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes.
Now that the game is finally out, it's clear this was actually next gen footage. Having said that, the current gen still looks quite good.
not a big fan , MGS is so strange , i play games every day , i like video games , but in MGS is not on my list because is so strange , a twisted combination , thx not all games are like that
Finally, on PC!!!
Metal Gear Solid 4 storyline was damn too good. Action was very thoughtful, but graphic-wise was ok. Graphics wasn't anything spectacular even at that time, because Killzone 2 had damn way better graphics.
*sigh* its a shame some people can't appreciate a game without blowing something up every 30 seconds.
this one and MGS:revengance I can't wait to get my hands on and play/beat it, it's gonna be one hell of ah ride.
Holy crap, this is in-engine isn't it?! Probably the PC-version, but still, holy crap.And by the way, holy crap, it's not a PS3-exclusive anymore?! I know what I'll be buying it for then. Screw that gamepad... Snake looks like Sam Fisher now though. :PJust hope they don't make a lazy PS3-to-PC-port and it performs like crap or something, also that they adapted the controls of course, otherwise it's no use.And even for the PS3 the controls were annoying in "MGS4"...
If who we see in the trailer is Big Boss then this game must take place shortly after MGS Peace Walker. Peace Walker was set in the year 1974 and Liquid and Solid Snake were born in 1972. If this game takes place in 1980, my guess would be that the kid in the beginning of the trailer is Solid Snake. Holy crap
this time mr kojima, please spare us the decathlon like torture sceance. i never did like button mashing games. i almost abandonned peace walker because of these.
mgs is about stealth and fighting, not brutalizing joypads^^.
OH HELL YEAH ANOTHER NEW METAL GEAR SOLID GAME AND THIS ONE HAS INCREDIBLY AMAZING GRAPHICS ANYONE HAS EVER SEEN wow this probably gnna b bangin
?is it just me or is this game really coming on PC ?well Kojima i apologize for what i said earlier.
Oh yea and also MGS is being sold as a game so i want to play a game and not a movie with 5 min interactive parts, but even if it had the warning on it saying this is not a game but a movie, id be so bored i wouldn't finish watching it, if i wanted to be bored to death by political bla bla id watch the news, which i dont, that ofcourse makes me stupid in your eyes, watching the news doesnt make you smart and you just like to feel like a big smart important man because you like political crap, eveyone in politics is a liar and a suckup so youre welcome to it, just know who you are.
And do you think this zombie looking guy is someone that was defeated in a previous MGS game? could be big the colonol.
why does the child have ear-phones plugged into his chest? To listen to his bodily functions? What woman told them everything? Why is this kid so dangerous? He has brown hair, like sake, which means it's not Riden.
I want to see liquid make a comeback..... in his own body this time.
this is definitely coming on ps4k.and it will get a score of 10 and also the game of the year title.Sad and frustrating fact is that it won't be on PC and Xbox(next gen).sometimes i really feel like killing Hideo Kojima.
thank god that its Big Boss.now we may finally get to know why he went rouge before he was killed by Solid Snake.
As far as I can tell this takes place in the 80's, Big Boss looks like he's in his 50's. The boy in the cage looks like he's in his early teens, making it more likely that the kid is Liquid when you see the blonde hair and he gets tossed a walkman, once more suggesting this game takes place in the 80's. This game probably has everything to do with Big Boss, the Les Infants Terribles project and Big Boss' turn to his Outer Heaven ideal. It's the missing piece of the puzzle that is the MGS saga.
@ulgk Killzone 2 was released a year after MGS4.
@skizo20 dont worry.
@Merseyak ive just crapped my pants
@xanderman21 It's neat that there are still trollers out there...
@xanderman21 that has less to do with the game and more your sense of identity. Get far, far away from this series you whiny loser.
@xanderman21 you dont have to buy the game... there is nothing that makes you buy every game that is availiable for sale. some people like MGS, and if you dont there are plenty of other games out there that im sure youd be interested in.
I thought that at first too but he seems kinda small to be Volgin then I was thinking maybe its Gene from MPO. He supposibly dies but its never truly shown or stated what happens to his body when the base is destroyed....
@NegasBlack this game takes place a few years from where peace walker ended.
Kojima has said the reason Big Boss looks like he has grey hair is just because of the lighting in the game made his hair look grey. http://www.gamespot.com/metal-gear-solid-ground-zeroes/videos/gs-news-snake-not-old-in-metal-gear-solid-ground-zeroes-6394631/
How does the walkman prove its in the 80's? they were using walkmans in peace walker and that took place in 74.
@NegasBlack Does liquid have green eyes though...? I can't remember but I'm almost certain Raiden does, and this would fit along side his child soldier past.
@solidus2_1 @YouEnjoyMyFluff Cheers for the theory Solidus, Portable Ops, Ac!d1 and Ac!d2 are the only games I never picked up/played through to the end, however, after doing some research: Here's a Portable Ops SPOILER - it does appear that Gene could've simply passed out and been caught in the blast radius that snake gets hit by. It definitely supports your theory that Gene could be returning as this man with the scarred face ;)
